@@yukyu6638 to simplified it, think of it like, no1 or no2. main is no1, lead is no2. main vocalist usually get more difficult lines to sings, like high note, or belting. lead vocalist will take other part. and main vocal does mean that he/she will get most of the lines in the song. there are instance where main vocal just sings couples of lines only. especially for group that had many members. based on my understanding. if someone can explain more correctly. then please correct me and share this knowledge.

The Boyz is special I think. Their position is different from other groups. Their position seems flexible. Hyunjae gets hatred for having long lines in many era. But I think Hyunjae is unofficial main vocal. Just like Sunwoo and Jacob as unofficial part of dance line. They have their official position when debuted but members keep improving. It is sad that other members have less, but it is also sad when people question a member as if he is not deserving.
