The only reason that Billy was able to rat on the Shelby's to their enemies is because Finn has loose lips around him since he considers Billy one of his best buddies. Finn needed to be taught a lesson and family loyalty and learning who to trust. While Tommy and Arthur would not want another brother dead, if he chose an outsider over the family, they couldn't let that stand. It should be interesting to see how Finn's storyline plays out in the movie

This was a Amazing series, the whole cast has done a fantastic job. They gave us incredible characters to love or hate or hope to die. One of the best thing about this show beside The Shelby Family is the relationship between Tommy and Alfie. Theirs is a beautiful fucking friendship neither one will ever acknowledged. They hate each other unlike Tommy and Campbell, they understand each other. From that alone a friendship can grow.

Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are great buddies.. they've been in 4 movies together...some of the stuff between Tommy and Alfie is improvised...only their scenes and only some of it...they both decided that they would shoot each other on the beach at margate 😂
And the very first time Alfie meets Tommy he says " put him down, he's only little"... that was an improv 😂 Cillian is 5' 7" ! The two are fantastic together... Alfie's rambling madness and Tommy's utter stillness...great actors..how they keep straight faces I'll never know ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They don't always keep straight faces actually. When Alfie meets Aberama Gold you can see Cillian break in the background and they have to cut away from it. Happens in a few occasions where you can see Cillian's face is not laughing but his eyes are. In his defense, that's more than I could do. I would simply not be able to shoot scenes with Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons lol

Of Cillian Murphy he said...he is a chameleon...he completely disappears into each role. He's a phenomenal actor...such a sweet gentle Irishman
Have you seen him in Oppenheimer? He was mind blowing...then watch Breakfast on Pluto and Red Eye which he did back to back.. Incredible..and then The Wind That Shakes the Barley..and Batman Begins. All in 18 months no one else could do that! Don't know if you guys watched Deadwood when it was on TV, but if you haven't seen it, and you can deal with westerns, you might want to give it a try. Great cast. Based on historical facts and characters (at least partially). I watched Peakies and Sons with you guys, though I had seen them both before. Enjoy the rest of your summer. You and yours stay safe and well!

So much in this episode is hooked into my brain. Michael finally dying. Johnny dogs, alfie. My goodness. That scene when he saw ruby. That hitch in his voice? “Did polly send ya”. Everytime, everytime chokes me up.
The dr will tell. He wont fake death long.

Things I'd recommend you guys watch since you enjoyed this series:
"Oppenheimer" - another hall of fame performance from Cillian Murphy
"Gangs of London" - stars John's actor, Catelyn Stark's actress, and created by the same guy as "The Raid" movies. Tons of twists and action.
"Taboo" - stars Tom Hardy and created by the same guy as "Peaky Blinders" (only 6 episodes though)

Nothing beats PB. Try to make the case, you can’t. Sad and puzzling finish, I wasn’t really satisfied, then I remembered Tommy said a while back to Alfie something like “I’ll keep going till I meet a man I can’t beat (sic).” He’s off into the fog and we just wonder what his next plan is. ❤❤❤ this show always. Unlimited rewatch value. Your reaction was unique and epic. Thanks guys.

Great reaction throughout the series - definitely my favourite reactors to the TV shws out there - When Peaky ended, I was at a loss, it upstaged so many of my favourite ever shows and genuinely believed I'd not see anything at the same level....that is until I saw Money Heist...completely different in style but same buzz....only issue is its in Spanish, but if you are ok with subtitles, I have no doubt you would love it as much as you did Peaky...regardless, great viewing and thanks for the ride.

Love the symbolism of seeing Thomas Shelby riding a black horse in the first episode and now we see him riding away with a white one.
The cleansing of his soul and his character changing from a cold killer to a person sparing another man's life.
Thanks for these reactions Nikki and Steven.
Truly a masterpiece of a show.

Thanks for all your great reactions on a fantastic series.
Agree about thinking of shows in terms of tiers - it's difficult to compare shows because different series can offer very different emotions and styles. Regardless, Peaky Blinders is right up there in whatever top tier is available to put it in.
Can't wait for the movie. If it never came, this episode is still a satisfying ending in so far as it provides closure for Tommy's character arc - but the business with Mosely and building towards the second world war is all there to still explore. Little bit nervous that a movie might wreck things, but the writers of the show have enough credit in the bank at this point to just make the idea of a movie a very exciting prospect!
