Few years back people don't know about northeastern states..now we feel equal to other states of india.. Proud to be an indian assamese..Please visit assam and north eastern states and experience our beautiful places..
Congress + China have f*ked North and North Eastern Bharat since 1897. Congress was established in Mumbai (Bombay) in 1887. There is a negative history of loot, mass religious conversions, drug trade and human trafficking since 100+ years. Now, piece by piece we are seeing the Northern parts of our nation build up once again! I hope North Easterns indigenous Hindus claim back their lands and rights and change the demography! Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya being prime examples of conversions!
Assam ke bahaar jaake broader nazar se dekho bhai, abhi bhi same haalat hai. Till now we get people who gets shocked when they comes to know that Assam has multiple airports 😢
Honestly, I wanted it to be that way, I don't want the simplicity of assamese people to fade and become extinct because of mainland India's hush rush culture seeping in and making things complex. When I went out of assam I craved that simplicity that sense of selfless acts, helping out each other without seeking something in return. I might be wrong in thinking this way. Just personal opinion
You were looking for Assamese food in Fancy Bazaar? More than half of Guwahati's Non-Assamese population lives in Fancy Bazaar. You might need to consider changing your manager.
'Khar' is basically a liquid substance prepared by cutting banana trees and leave to dry, then after they are burned and water is poured over the remaining ash such as filtration. This liquid is then used for cooking and even for other uses too. Khar is beneficial for digestion.
Silkworms and indiegenous foods are there at the place called RANI towards Chandubi. There are dhabas there called LOCAL DHABA. You can surely go there. Next time u r in guwahati drop a text will surely be happy to show you the local side of Guwahati and Assam. Fancy bazaar is not exactly the local side of Guwahati. Its a mix of assamese and culture of different states.
There is a restaurant named "Tribal Taste" at Ganesh Turning, Kahilipara, Guwahati. Where you can find these indigenous foods like Silkworm, Crab and much more. Must visit.
Hi, sister Kamya , I am from Guwahati & Fancy Bazaar area is basically of Marwari ppls Whereas , assame ppls resides in the nearby Panbazaar , Patan Bazaar area of Ghy .... Khorika & Alohi are new assamese restaurants but Paradise at Silpukhuri area is the oldest restaurant serving traditional assamese veg & non veg thalis
You have gone to kaziranga, you should have gone towards upper side of Assam to explore authentic Assamese food and the silkworms as well. Guwahati is just like any other cities, where you won't get anything super authentic but mixtures of all the cultures.
I have been following you for a year watching your videos exploring other states or countries but now seeing you exploring my own land feels like dreams come true. Thanks for visiting 😊
Very disappointed with Curly Tales lack of knowledge when it comes to Assam & North East as a whole esp food and culture. She tried to forcefully add the silkworm clip despite not finding it anywhere in the city. Just because it satisfies their stereotype. She was campaigning for the Udan scheme hence missed to show that she could have easily visited from the Jorhat Aiport. In a different episode, she presented Tibetian food to Ayushman Khurana while claiming to eat food from northeast. Someone please tell her the entire northeast is not the same. Momo is not a traditional Assamese food but Assam has adopted it like every other state in India. It is the responsibility of content creators like her to stop the spread of misinformation. Chefs like Ranbir Brar, Vikas Khanna and youtubers like Sidharth Joshi , visa2explore do their research and show the appropriate level of respect when it comes to other cultures.

Nice content and bringing Northeast to the world. Only one correction is that those aren't the Rhinos of Assam, they are the Rhinos from Africa 🌍........

FYI, Assamese call themselves "Khar khua", meaning they identify themselves with this delicacy. Khua= to eat
'eater/s'
khar khua= khar eater/s@@funnymoviestarss4U
Is khar really salty because I heard from some video that people of Assam started eating khar due to shortage of salt
@@thunderbolt5859 Khar is tasteless it can be become anything if one adds flavour to it
@@funnymoviestarss4U No, khar is not salty you can say it alkaline
As our PM suggested, you must now start filming our rural communities who are great artists of handicrafts
