I see SO MANY people comment on bellydancer videos with terms like 'great costume,' 'gorgeous girl,' etc. etc. - but so few comments on people's abilities as DANCERS. When did raqs sharqi become a fashion show/beauty pageant, instead of being about someone's ability to, y'know, actually DANCE?
