Big Ideas, Bold Goals, and the Future of Biomanufacturing Webinar (November 8, 2023)

The National Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Initiative (NBBI), Executive Order 14081 was a step toward continuing innovation, accelerating commercialization, and defining a modern National Strategy for the Bioeconomy. The NBBI bold goals and priorities, developed in consultation with academic and industrial stakeholders, will catalyze action inside and outside of government to advance American biotechnology and biomanufacturing. Several ongoing NIST and NIIMBL programs are helping to realize the big ideas and bold goals set forth in the NBBI reports. Continued efforts will help to continuously evolve an agile and sustainable biomanufacturing ecosystem that will ensure commercial competitiveness of established and emerging products alike.
