You have a great eye for the camera. Awesome shots and video. Stunning. Right, don't forget to look around when taking a fairly tough trail. So true. High as the birds! Loved the ducks and trout. New sub. Cheers
Cannot wait to film there in two weeks! I spent a large part of my childhood in the Tatras, and I still always go back to hike in these beautiful mountains! 😍😍😍. Great work! Great content!!
Great video🎥, the scenery was absolutely amazing🏔🏔🔥🔥! I'm going there in the summer and was wondering when was this filmed since I see there was some snow left. Are the snow ponds all year round?
Dag Corno, alweer zo'n jaloers makende video van je met ontzettend mooie landschappen en als ik weer een auto heb en europa in trek zal ik zeker eerst je mooie video's bekijken waar ik onbetwist naar toe moet gaan! Groetjes Gijs
Incredible! You wouldn’t happen to know if it’s open all throughout the year? I’m planning on visiting in February - haven’t yet begun my in depth planning
Hi Corno! Compliments for this very inspirational video! It is for sure a great spot for these areas, beautifully filmed and described and great scenarios! 👏👏👍👍 SuperLike for it! We subscribed to your channel and will follow with passion! ☺☺
I feel like an ass, watching hiking in Tatras from a foreign tourist, because I've only managed to get on Kasprowy Wierch by a cable car. Loved the vid tho
hello. I am an expat living in Poznan. Is there a group of people here in Poland where I can join and experience the beautiful scenery of Tatra Mountains? Thanks
I recently seeking hiking places in Europe and just found out this video that published one year ago. The view of this mountain is stunning. May I know if this place has many wooden buildings inside there? Because I have a book that intro hiking places in world, it recommend a hiking place that has many wooden buidlings in Poland. However, I'm not sure if Tatras Mountain is the place.
@@CornoVanDenBerg According to the hiking book, the wooden buildings are churches and local resident's houses. Ah ha...that's great as It can be a day hike!! Thanks for your info and sharing. Definitely subscribe your channel☺️
@@cylengHikeDive At the foot of the mountains there are a lot of wooden houses and wooden churches. This is a separate, original local architectural style. Google "styl zakopianski" (which means Zakopane style) also "Wiktorowki church" and feast your eyes on beauty.
It was in June when I did this. In March there can be snow and ice on the path. Depends on the weather. You have to ask when you get there what the possibilities are. Enjoy your trip!
These are alpine-type mountains. In March they are all ice and snow, only for serious climbers. Of course, you can still take the cable car up Kasprowy Wierch.
It's straight from the cable car. The top is called Swinica and it's signposted. But I wanted to see the lakes as well, which are not well signposted. But you can see them and the cable car in the distance, so you shouldn't get lost. I think I did 12 km in one day all together. Enjoy!
In the mountains you don't measure the road in kilometers, but in hours. It's not a flat road. A technically difficult trail of, say, 4 kilometers can take you up to 8 hours.
@@CornoVanDenBerg The first group of lakes you saw from Świnica are the lakes from the famous Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich / Valley of Five Polish Lakes. "Second" lakes, located on the other side of the mountain (at the descent from the mountain here) are Stawy Gąsienicowe / Gąsienica Lakes.
No it is okay, there is a small part where you have to climb with help of the ropes. But if you have good shoes and you’re a stable hiker it should be fine!
I don't recommend it if you don't have an experience. Especially during worse weather. This particular mountain (Świnica) has already taken the lives of quite a few people, including famous ones. The mountain's name derives from a pig. Yes, a reference to its treacherous nature.
It is, you can easily take the cable car and start hiking. May be one part of the trail is a bit tricky, but not dangerous. I've seen toddlers at the top!
I was there like a week ago, but I just got to the Swinica peak, and then back... You really need to be fit to even go down to the lakes in one day, or you just have to go up very early and go down late. To be fair, going up and down multiple times is a bit costly, but once it's not too bad. If you want to hike up there or down, that takes even more hours and a lot of strenght. The scenery is amazing so it's definetely worth to visit.
Yes, I got the first cable car up and hiked all day to see the lakes as well. I agree, it was amazing. The hike just to Swinica is doable for most people I think. If you take it slow. Thanks for the comment!
Fantastically captured surroundings, impressive editing skills too my friend. Just gorgeous work, 🔥🔥
Thanks!

Is it allowed to ride a mountain bike there?
Yes, there are special mountainbike routes!
Can you let us know what cable car and trails you took for this trip?
It's mentioned in the captions, it's from Zakopane, the hike is to Swinica and down to the lakes.
what date did you do this hike?
The end of June
Where exactly is it? What's the route?
I started in Zakopane and took the cable car from there
Is it accessible with public transport
It is. The Cable Car can take you up. The staff will help you with it. There are disabled toilets available in the restaurant at the top.
Yes, the cable car is accessible by bus. The cable car takes you high in the mountains.

Why helmet?
There is a small part where you have to climb over rocks and hold a small rail. It can be seen in the video. It is more safe, but not necessary.
