- Valentine's Day is approaching, and you're in a mood for romance and flowers, but outside it's still cold and snowy! What is one to do?! Why, bring the party inside, that's what!
Your sitting room is already in Valentine-appropriate shades of pink and red, but you put vases of cheery flowers all over--on both sides of the entrance, on the fireplace mantel and next to the hearth, then you light candles on the mantel and the lantern by the fire. Ah! That increases the special, celebratory feel in the air. It feels like "Valentine's Day sparkle." Hmmm--is there such a thing?!
You grab your favorite heart-covered mug and make yourself an espresso--ahhhh; it's like love in a cup! Your new puppy is curled up by the fire, and your heart melts as you pet him and he snuggles under your hand. You feel loved, and so very blessed to be surrounded by beauty, warmth, and deliciousness! It's the perfect Valentine's Day mood, and you sit back, soaking it all in...
