+Barry I. Grauman In this cartoon Pearl doesn't seem to be shackled to that chain very tightly . She could easily unshackle herself and dive into the Venice canal to escape Harry's clutches. But the canals of Venice are polluted so I've heard and I suppose even Pearl didn't want to get her lovely dress and her lovely self polluted and stinked up in a Venetian canal. Better to be a slave of Oil Can Harry than to have her person smell worse than a skunk than swimming for her life in a polluted Venetian canal.
I think Mighty Mouse isn’t strong since oil can harry is equity strong , fast and smart enough to duke it out with Mighty Mouse yet ends with his tail Behind his legs yet never give up and we see him over over trying to get his leg his love interest yes feels a lot
Was Oil Can Harry really in love with Pearl Pureheart or was he just using her for monetary gain. What would Harry do to Pearl once he got everything he wanted from her. Would he dispose of her? If he did Pearl wouldn't give up without a struggle. She's whupped Harry's ass in a few episodes without Mighty Mouse's help . Pearl's not as frail and helpless as she looks.
seems like an olive oil brutus situation she just likes the bad boys and the drama and we all know brutus is olive oil's baby daddy we've never seen any siblings even though she claims thats her nephew

I'm not exactly sure and I could very wrong, but 9 years ago I saw a comment on You Tube while watching an MM/OCH/PP operetta that a former opera singer provided the singing as well as the talking voice of Pearl Pureheart.
Does anyone know the name of the song? At the very least, I'd like somebody to verify whether it was just made specifically for this particular presentation, because with the Italian lyrics, it doesn't quite sound like it.
