siempre que viajo de Bogota a Madrid y regreso, tomo este vuelo, el servicio de iberia es excelente, incluso cuando alguna vez mi equipaje sufrio alguna averia en bodega me fue pagado inmediatamente en la misma zona de recogida de equipajes por Iberia. por otra parte la salida al final de la tarde de Bogota le permite a uno un vuelo tranquilo con una cena sin prisa, una noche de descanso y un tiempo suficiente en la mañana para el desayuno un tanto franciscano, que podría mejorar y alistarse para el arrivo. Excelente resumen del viaje, gracias por el contenido

I flew Iberia back in the 80's, it was an A300 MAD-LPA-MAD and a DC-9 MAD-ZRH 🙂

Wow, that breakfast is definitely bad, particularly for premium economy. I flew Avianca BOG-BCN and got a hot omelette on COACH!

Cuando compras esa categoría, tienes acceso a las salas lounge de cualquier aeropuerto?? En cuanto al servicio de comida, yo pensé que era un servicio un poco más especial ya que casi es como si fueras en clase turista, pero los asientos se ven cómodos

Like many other carriers Iberia is not what it was back in the good old times. I remember the 1980's and the service offered on their DC10-30 or 747 longhaul flights in Economy - what a difference!
The breakfast on your flight simply is a cheap and awful shame, considering you've paid vor PE Service.
No matter which Airline you fly these days, same everywhere around. 🤷
Only a handful of Airlines still really do very well, Iberia unfortunately is not among those.

Unfortunately the service I receive on this flight wasn’t the best, I found rude staff at boarding, got to ask 3 times for the “welcome drink” to the flight attendant to only be served a 1/4 of cup with orange juice and an unfriendly face expression. Little details that make me think twice to book again with IB. Cheers!

When I compare my transatlantic crossings back in the early 1980s in Y to todays PE(Y) I must say that today's average prices are quite a bit lower than then but the seating comfort has improved. What people often forget is, that you basically pay the square footage your space takes on a plane (plus a few gimmicks). Other carriers don't reach Iberias standard when it comes to food service. But still - the main difference is always the cabin crew!
