I really like how while the videos are so cinematic, he also does things like the chair snap which both a shout-out to Cherophobia (fear of happiness) and it lets you know how the rooms sounds in order to let you know it's live. Amazing performance. Amazing video.
Your words on not liking something when it's presented with passion by someone else hit me. My son sent me hi Ren months ago, I watched about 3 minutes before giving up. I foundhim again on my own and was blown away . This response needs to be studied ! 😂

This rendition definitely grabs you firmly in the feels and doesn't let go. Once you connect with the lyrics, the musicality washes in like a tidal wave and forces the emotion out ! I think you have to be in the right place mentally to really 'connect' with Ren but as soon as that link is formed you are pulled in hook, line and sinker !

Funny enough I had a similar problem with my wife. I felt like I KNEW she’d like Ren but the songs I’d show her she would just not be excited about. Then one day she was quietly standing behind me as I was listening to “blind eyed” and I had no idea she was there. Then I hear a sniffle and turned around to see her in tears. Nw she loves it all! lol There is something about finding a song you connect to vs being shown a song you connect with I guess.
