      Lots of people who think they are “normal” tend to ask those types of questions and it bothers me because they aren’t seeing through what these guys are seeing. One person on the street might look at their town or city and think “this place is good and nothing really wrong goes on here” while the guy next to that person is thinking “This place needs help”. Very very boneheaded and not very perceptive.

    Vigilantism should be legal because sometimes these people do better than the police. If anything, cops should appreciate the extra help.

    • @Rubensteinsrevenge
      @Rubensteinsrevenge 7 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      Yeah, but there could be all kinds of mishaps. Also the police get concerned for the vigilantes aswell because they are civilians and regular citizens, so therefore they are the police's responcibility.

    • @psyke_out
      @psyke_out 7 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Rubensteinsrevenge Don't you watch Arrow? Yes I know that's a show and fictional characters but it's based off stuff that if people trained in the right way, they could do in real life. Who's to say that a vigilante is ex-military? Or even a former martial arts champion? Or even an athlete who lost their shot at the pros but still wants to do something for the people? Fact of the matter is that Arrow has shown us that we can be vigilantes and being the police's concern, you have a point, but in the time vigilantes help the cops, it could lead them to what they're after. Many non policemen are licensed to carry guns as well as many trained in weapons combat. Take the Creepy Killer Clowns for example, a Batman stepped up and fought and I even saw some people dressed as Green Arrow and Deadpool, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Ant Man fighting off some around here. Police may go to the academy to train and catch criminals but civilians are capable of the same thing.

    • @Rubensteinsrevenge
      @Rubensteinsrevenge 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I do watch the show, actually :P and I agree, it could work :) And that's really great what they did with the clowns! I didn't know that.

    • @psyke_out
      @psyke_out 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Rubensteinsrevenge I love Arrow and I was walking home from work one night when I saw the people dressed as the heroes fighting off the clowns, even on Halloween, I went hunting with some friends for the clowns after rumors of the clown purge surfacing, ran into the heroes again, cops told us to go home but we didn't. Reason the heroes never reaching the news was because the cops here don't want the people to know police couldn't do their job.

      I know that these people don't actually "fight crime" and that this is ripped from Batman, but if you want to actually make a difference and create less criminals you have to create fear. Without fear they just see some guy in a costume with a taser. But when they're scared that's when they begin to stop.

    I'm really sorry. But it's hard to take these guys seriously when they dress up in spandex, purposely draw attention to themselves, and are patrolling SEATTLE......of all cities (ranked 4th safest city by Forbes). You want to fight crime? Go to Chicago, Orlando, or Detroit. Horrible crimes happen almost every day in these cities. People getting shot, knived, raped. Most of them end up unreported due to threats or due to a lack of competent police (Chicago is well known for this). The most these guys do is stop some drunk guy from driving or break up a fight. Are you kidding me? Why not save the people who are actually in trouble. I appreciate that these guys have good motives and are trying to help out, but - again - they're not really targeting the main issues.
    Also, I would prefer it if they wouldn't come out and just openly show themselves to the camera to attract attention. A real superhero wouldn't do that. They would try to stay AWAY from any publicity. Moreover, they tape almost every assault that they stop to show how heroic they are.....not very heroic
    Even still, my heart goes out to them for promoting safety and inspiring young kids and even elders to fight crime.

    just remember everyone is a Hero when you make a positive impact on the World or someone's life. These guys are actively seeking to help people with their Values and fame, I don't see a problem with this. A real Superhero would never advertise their motives for the Police, Governments or Media Justice is Blind and obey the Laws of Man only Universal Laws are important.

    ok im not gonna do this shit at all but if u really were to do something to stop crime, u can't be known, let people find out about you, dont show off. Do these guys have any experience or something? wtf is walking the street gonna do? you gotta get police radio and get to the crime before they do, come out clean without any of your traces. I understand they want to help but then they do small crimes, one's that cops can do. And the fact that he gave out information about himself on the news? come on man, want to stay secret, dont talk about your kids and family. some people can get sources to find you bro.

  • @TheLuconic

    real heroes dont involve their personal life. if they are an actual threat, then the crime organization will take them out of will try. So, if these are heroes, why arent they being attacked? because they are not a real threat, or at least not yet. this is a serious situation that if you do become a so called hero, then expect the worst and you might even lose your life if you become a threat to the thugs.

    The advantage of a vigilante with secret identity is that they will not be easily compromise. It has become the problem of the law enforcement agencies all over the world. The criminals, especially organized crime, always sought to compromise the law enforcement officer by going around their uniform and into their private lives.
    On the other hand, secret identity means the vigilante is not accountable to anyone. So that mean's their service and their benefit to the society is entirely on their own conscience. If this conscience fail, there's no way to indicted them beyond their pseudonym.

    I'm all for vigilante's but legit serious knowledgable one's with special skills perhaps ex military and officers, free runners martial artists mma ufc you know someone who has knowledge and true training in defense because unfort people are quick to shoot you and stuff. We need more vigilantes and less cops know why? because vigilantes get nothing from saving a life nor stopping a crime no temptation to be corrupt. as for the uniforms I under why many reasons to hide their idenity from people who have power to find them and hurt their loved ones or them,it does draw attention to the cops and does help them understand a little more who to arrest. and they can have weapons and vests on under it. but it needs to be well invested into.

  • @ArvinB_

    there are a few things i have to say, first i think what their doing is cool and all and i like it but their going at it all wrong, i wouldnt wear suits like those cause theyre not intimidating and it doesnt give much movability for the wearer, i wouldve have gone more with combat gear and not made it look like a superhero maybe more like red good but with darker colours and no symbols. One of the MAJOR problems i have is that they go on tv and "patrol" so openly and they give people their identities i mean phoneix jones used his real name as his superhero name like wtf, imagine if batman was just called bruce wayne his hero name was bruce wayne, also no one takes them seriously cause they go walk around the streets and stop only petty crime, to be making a difference they should be going after things like drug rings or smaller terrorist groups not small things like stopping a street brawl or a drunk guy leave that to the police and do it in the shadows they do so openly and they go on tv when they know that their going to be laughed at i mean no offence but theyre practically 2 ninjas and a ripoff nightwing with weird mask, also they dont show any real skills for this sort of thing, sure phoneix jones is trained in mma but thats only one slow martial arts and its not as brutal as others, i would learn and master at least 2 martial arts before and practice alot, another important thing is that they are good with tracking, forensics and (not to sound cheesy but i dont know what word) detective skills. For exaple like i said before if their trying to find a big drug centre they would need skills like these to find them. Another problem i have is (i know this is stupid and silly) they should do things through fear and silently, like i know this could get you arrested but like interrogate someone to a point where their so afraid that they give you what you need, and maybe just maybe (though very very very unlikely) the police will over look you beating up people like you see in most superhero movies but they are just movies so the best thing that could happen is for them to at least take you seriously even though that probably means that youd have to deal with police and be charged with assault but thats why you have a secret identity, so that they cant find you or if you think things are getting to out of hand you can quit it all and no one will even know it was you. And finally they have no reason to do this the city they live in (seattle) is not that bad a place that you need to do this, you should only do this if you like in a city like gotham where crime is everywhere and (this is important) only if the police are corrupt and cant do or wont do their job then you could take things into your own hands because police arent doing their job but these police look ok and i cant think of any city in the world like this (please tell if you know of one). So thats what i think about this, overall i think what their their doing is good and im all for it nothing against them this is just how i think they should do it
