This was a beautiful kitchen remodel. Definitely agree not to take off the flooring first if you're not getting paid for it. Honestly if I was hiring someone I would've just taken it out the flooring before hand anyways.
Other than the Formica countertops I loved the design choices. I would have custom made for half the price stone coat countertops in the perfect color combination to the design. Breathtaking for cheap. Worth the work!
My dad textured our house completely and also had to scrape the old popcorn ceilings. And a flattened spackle to me looks amazing. So it doesn't have any points, but lays flat and looks like little circles and domes in a way gives some depth but isn't ugly. The pointy orange peel is annoying but take a long putty knife and drag it over it when wet and knock it down gives such a great look.
Great work mate. I really enjoyed watching the whole video without skipping because that commentary is like a walkthrough and really interesting. You are really skill full and I wish if you could shed some light and tell me how would you transform my kitchen which is 20-30 years old. Let me know and I’ll post you some photos. Thanks.
Great project. I appreciate the time it takes to edit and speed through this type of project in your videos, not to mention actually filming it while on a clients time line, sheesh... The only critique I will throw out is, that bent up AC vent... replace with a new one.... (or take the old one off, clean it up, hammer it square, and spray paint it new.) Regardless, who ever rents this home is getting a great place to cook and gather. Good job!
I would love to see the bench idea, so I hope she has you do that. This is a beautiful kitchen! I live in Iowa and the homes are old here so it’s cool to see old kitchens with random spaces and no dishwasher remodeled. And remodel of basements. Subscribed.
I have watched some of this TH-cam u can do anything.........I am absolutely amazed by your physical being you are.................I am saying that my new home is this year in Windsor Ontario, Canada I sure would love to have someone like you and tell me about it...........
you again did a wonderful job. In what state do you live, just in case my son wants to remodel a house and you live in the area, I sure would recommend you to him.
I took a very close look @13:54 and to me it seems as if the sink is flush with the counter top and doesn't seem to have any upward lip resting on it. *I've rewinded back and forth it's not mention in the video* how you achieved that because I have the same Sub-Zero sink but my sink rests on top of the counter. _I'd like to make it as you've done_ so I can wisk the clutter or water right into the sink.
Completely depends on the application. I’d say 9 times out of 10 I’d choose click together. The only time I’d choose peel and stick is if the sub floor is in really good shape and cost is main concern.
What was the cost of this job. Excluding appliances ? I wish you could do my kitchen. I am starting to learn how to do this all my self but there is some stuff i just cant do. The flooring for one.
hi great work .... i live in Barbados/ caribbean ..... i would love to work with you....you do very wonderful finishes GREAT job man, thumbs up for sure
Actually I suggested that at one point. However the window right there limiting the countertop would make it so that any added overhang would take away cabinets. Also that area in front of the window is already so small, a table and chairs would barely fit, adding two more stools would be really crowded. Thanks for the comment!
I do have a question WHY is that space above upper cabinets ? Why not use larger cabinets or just put a frame with doors either way so it is usable not wasted 😕
This one is hard to say because I was actually going back and forth between this one and another bathroom remodel. My best guess full time with 1 guy 2-3 weeks.
Do you teach? I know NOTHING about this but starting to get a fascination with building. I could be an unpaid intern with just being paid in know how’s.
Why didn't you put a box to the upper right corner (next to the dishwasher) to match the tiles on the wall, instead of making a two door box, make a 1 big door, then add the other box on top of the tiles, so the tiles doesn't look out of place! Other than than you did a great job.
I think it’s a design aspect, if the upper drawers had the same frame the space in the middle would be very thin and would look funny. Also wouldn’t leave much room for a drawer handle.
Hey, these video's are great, but you really should populate your page more. Where are you located? What's your number? What cities/ counties do you serve? What's your website?!!?!

Where would one go for an online, fully comprehensive course for learning how to do home remodeling?

A one man band that plays like an orchestra .. well done ! Consider putting the city or area you work in here and on your web page ;)
Nothing wrong with using mastic/ tile adhesive on a backsplash. The grout solidifies and holds the tile together as well.
Zack your jobs are superb!!!!! Any NJ recommendations?
😍😍😍
Do you prefer peel and stick flooring or click together flooring?? If you have time please do some tool tutorials
Completely depends on the application. I’d say 9 times out of 10 I’d choose click together. The only time I’d choose peel and stick is if the sub floor is in really good shape and cost is main concern.
@@ZEMConstruction thank you for responding happy holidays!!!

If you can do the other stuff, I’m sure you can do the floor. Click lock vinyl super easy?
@@amharbour I had someone do my floor in the end. Best decision I ever made
awesome job 🙏🏻
just make sure to keep wipe ur camera lenses for the next video 😅
My pet peeve is: when they do not paint walls behind cabinets. Just my issue I guess. Good video
Man what a great job !! Can you please give and idea in how much did it cost the Home Depot cabinets ? Thanks
hi great work .... i live in Barbados/ caribbean ..... i would love to work with you....you do very wonderful finishes GREAT job man, thumbs up for sure
Should have made that L bend in the counter have a hang-over and made it a bar. Two stools on the other side would have worked-out perfectly.
Actually I suggested that at one point. However the window right there limiting the countertop would make it so that any added overhang would take away cabinets. Also that area in front of the window is already so small, a table and chairs would barely fit, adding two more stools would be really crowded. Thanks for the comment!
The green stuff you used on the ceiling.. is that a special type of painter tape ?
Great job!! Looks great! What is the approximate cost for everything? Thanks.
How can I remove the type of counter that comes out and separates the kitchen and eating area? Can I just cut it? 😅
How long did the project take to complete
Que no se vean las partes ocultas (muros y pisos) no quiere decir que tienes que dejar una suciedad, tu trabajo deja mucho que pensar.
I do have a question WHY is that space above upper cabinets ?
Why not use larger cabinets or just put a frame with doors either way so it is usable not wasted 😕
How long did the total project take?

Do you do remodels in Utah ?
Totally not commenting this so it’ll be 69 comments lol. This cool to watch tho
Looks great. Subbed! Where you based? I’m a real estate investor and always looking for contractors.
Do you teach? I know NOTHING about this but starting to get a fascination with building. I could be an unpaid intern with just being paid in know how’s.
The Spitzer valve where is the Spitzer valve

Why are the top drawer faces different then lowers?

Different factory design.
