Finn’s acting is great in this storyline. He needs help. I thought the scene with Cates and Sam was comical not serious. It was camp. Agree about Jagger not knowing Sam. Made no sense. He knew who Danny was and even where to find him to question him when he was looking for Jason but wouldn't know/recognize Danny's mom? It's bad enough writers don't check GH history from years or decades ago when writing storylines, apparently they don't even recall what they wrote weeks or a couple months back. And totally agree with you on the Finn storyline. Finn has been absolutely devoted to Violet since finding out she was his daughter and has treated her like a little princess. Has never even raised his voice at her and now because he's broken his sobriety after 7 years everyone's acting like he's the worst father ever with no evidence that he's hurt Violet. I get he's an addict who needs help but where is the compassion. Liz and Brooklyn are particularly annoying me in this storyline.
And Sam, as a private investigator, should've figured that Cates would know who she was. Also, didn't Cates notice that the "towel boy" wore a hat and shades indoors when none of the other staff did? The roof where the pool is located appears to be an enclosed room with a ceiling. They all looked pretty ridiculous in this setup.
I don't think Sam was trying to pretend that she was non of Sam McCall. She wanted to provide a window of opportunity to distract Cates. Spinelli and Sam were successful in getting Cates credentials photocopied. Now we just have to see how it all plays out.
Liz is morose. She and Finn never behaved like a couple, and the Reiko mess was just glossed over after the Webbers went home. I'm glad, though, that she told Jake how much she appreciated that he came to her about Finn, even though it came out later that he'd been in the bar himself, underage.
Another good commentary!, so glad I’m on break from watching. Because I still love the show and some of the characters but it hurts my heart to watch the unbalanced unsatisfying writing on a daily. I’ve been invested in this show since the mid 1990s so it’s a relationship that runs deep. I notivpce that many of the things I love about serial and nighttime tv shows I watch now ( such as Will Trent, 911, etc) have strong elements that were featured on daytime soaps. There are great writers out there but for some reason the soap genre over the past two decades has not been open to or has been unable to bring in new talent to support great writing. Anyhow, I love my soap actors so I will never say goodbye to soaps but my heart hurts too much to watch daily.
Liz married a serial killer but she worried about her boys! Cam didn't like Franco at first! She do the most but judge everyone else! Finn was there for Liz, she can't show him Grace? Did she think about her boys, when she was apart of Nick Shanigans! Smh Finn lost his Dad, he gotta hit bottom! Tracy told Brooklyn and Chase! That Finn is lost! I'm over chase he sheltered and naieve! Blaming himself, is ridiculous! TJ was out of order! He should have put his foot down! He acting like a caveman! Molly played Chess, after one fight, why did she go to Krissy? Alexis always team Molly! I like Gio! Laura pick and choose! She needs to be fired! Everything Cyrus did, he a feeble old man! He the reason Lulu in a comma and Dev, and Dustin are Dead! I like Stella and Tracy friendship! I don't like how heather can get off because of Diane! Trina was on point with Laura! I hope Krissy keeps the baby! All this contempt for Krissy and Sonny, why did he agree? Like Molly said, too late to play victim! Gio play better than chase and blaze singing!
You make some very insightful points. I agree with you so much on Liz but my dislike for Finn is too strong for me to give him grace. I am too biased to feel for him but agree about Liz🤣 she is something when you think about how she play fast and loose with morality
Best and worst also include fashions. Ava's outfit was great, the pale peach lace top with belt over a black skirt. Loved Trina's shoes. Josslyn's outfit was terrible.
TJ's suddenly become a jerk. He has no call to blame Molly for things he himself agreed to. He had his opportunity to object, and he did so only mildly. He knew who Krissy was. He knew who Sonny was. He heard what Alexis said about the legalities of custody in this situation. He has no one to blame for his choices but himself.
He was playing Nessun Dorma, which is a classic. It was good..,not great. I am hoping he gets better…maybe nerves? Although he was better at the wedding. Totally agree about Liz. Writers are really writing her terribly…just to end the relationship. Why not end it better like two friends who have stood by each other through a lot. His dead body and her cutting up dresses…I feel bad for both actors.

Yeah it should’ve been Michael that had that conversation, but I can’t stand his character anymore than I can stand joss. They’re mini Carly’s in their self righteous always rightness, and it’s more than enough to have one on screen at a time. 😂 I don’t care that Liz may have overreacted if it gets them to breakup, either. Liz and Fin are boring. So are Michael and willow. And if I have to hear about Amelia’s swimming lessons one more time I’m going to throw my tv out the window. Drew and Nina are at least interesting. And I agree I liked that scene where Sonny wanted to forgive Jason but was honest that he just couldn’t. I think that nuance was played well.
I know Lizabeth pulling away from Fin he’s weak and pathetic I could never let a man like that touch me at all I know Lizabeth started pushing Fin away from the tine Jason came back she can’t help herself she’d gona always be Jason’s girl they are each others person

The writers just needed a way to break up Finn and Liz. I am so happy about it! Not the way it happened but glad it’s over.
