Great man, credit to our British public. I'm a 3rd generation Brit with family from the middle East and I have alot of respect for all soldiers. The politicians I don't like for their decisions but the soldiers do their duty and I have many friends and even 2 cousins that served in the British Army.
Hope the government does more to adress the homeless veterans and mental health issues for the veteran community.

Poor guy sounds like he went through a lot. I hope he gets the help and support he needs. Even still, can't really blame the afghanis for bening hostile towards the british, after all they invaded their country and bombed and massacred innocent afghani civilians for how many years. I remember hearing of a poor little afgahni girl who was grapped and unalived along with her entire family. I think it was done by American troops. But there have been so many stories like this from both US and UK forces over there..

These are the people to get on james, not these waster scumbag gangsters who have " seen the light" but reigned hell on people for decades. Great podcast

There are more troubled people in the world than otherwise so it may be an inspiration to those to hear about pple who led a lost life and found the way against all odds?

Really admire this man and he absolutely 100% gets it, no conflict can be won without dialogue. Selfless and amazing mental ability. Having PTSD myself I wish I could be more like him
