Welcome to the 2017 Feast of Tabernacles!

Happy Feast of Tabernacles to you!
I want to thank you for joining us here and making this festival an enriching experience for us all. We’re here to worship God, to learn and to rejoice. We’re here to spend time with our families and friends and strengthen those relationships. Our awesome God has provided this wonderful opportunity. Let's make the most of it. We are also here to soberly reflect on the brokenness of our world as it currently is.
“The creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time” (Romans 8:21).
This has also been a year of groaning through personal trials. We await deliverance and transformation. We will be learning about that here at the Feast of Tabernacles that we can understand and stay strong.
I hope you make the most of the time you have at this Feast. Don’t let a day go by without connecting with one of your brothers and sisters in Christ. Try to make it a personal goal this Feast to meet someone new and start a new friendship. Don’t let a day go by without opening your Bible and soaking in God’s Word. Don’t let a day go by without praying to your Father in heaven.
Finally, though there is much to reflect on that sobers and humbles us, don’t let a day go by without truly rejoicing in God’s wonderful plan to heal and restore His world and the people He has made.
