- Yo, this is going to be my first Zero to Hero Video but its going to be done in the way that makes sense to me which is to make it into a Snowball/Deathless Challenge! The whole idea is to start with nothing and go as many games as possible without dying and doing everything I can to facilitate that such as using the marketplace. As such this video should show you how to get gold in Dark and Darker, how to buy items, and to some extent show you how to PVP. These were the Zero to Hero Deathless Challenge Rules that I used
1.) Upon Death the Challenge ends and all challenge stash items/Gold must be sold to vendor or Donated.
2.) No Bossing or Counterbossing.
3.) Items sold on the marketplace must be priced with a huge discount to encourage instant sells.
4.) Any Good items that are replaced/Upgraded must be stashed and Donated at the end of the challenge. Cannot upgrade a piece of gear and then sell the replaced piece on the market.

Yooo, whats up chefs! This is my first Zero to Hero Video and you can find the few rules I decided to use in the description if youre curious. But I wanted to make this my version of the challenge by turning it into a deathless/snowball style where I used the marketplace and tried to continuously make upgrades to my kit along the way. This video documents the whole process so I hope you guys enjoy!

Nice vid. Just wondering - how do you do those attack feints? There are moments in this video where you sort of animation cancel your attack a few times before committing. I really could have used that in a mirror match-up not too long ago. I thought feinting in this game was impossible.
mmm not sure, you might be talking about the animation my character does whenever I was using smite or divine protection. If you can link me a timestamp though Ill confirm for you, but currently like you said there is no way to feint an attack :)
@@VinisKitchen22 Thanks for answering.I re-checked the part where the rogue got you and you're right - it's the animation for your abilities. In that case would you happen to know what I could have done differently in my recent cleric versus cleric match?
We both had seemingly no spells left, just a weapon and shield. We kept bonking each other meaninglessly due to our shields for a minute or two until I eventually died. I really, really wanted feints at that moment.
@@Gameboon you can technically sort of feint attacks by playing footsie with your opponent where you kind of run towards them to bait them to attack you but then step back at the right time and then throw in your own attack after you dodged theirs, sometimes that helps :)

Hate to be that guy, but Zero to hero is going in with nothing and finding it all in the raid no markets. Still enjoyed watching love the Cleric Content!
Mmmm I mean I did go in with nothing but idk I don’t feel like there is any set version of rules for zero to hero necessarily I’ve seen a bunch of people do it differently. But, either way it goes that’s why I made it a “deathless challenge”, I feel like since the marketplace is in the game and most people use the marketplace it makes sense for me to use it in this type of challenge. Otherwise the zero to hero is basically just going in and praying for the perfect opportunity to get good gear instead of farming gold and buying it which is much more replicable for a viewer :)
