"Black Jack is in reach! Blast it out of the sky!" First time I played this part, I was blown away. The music, sound and overall presentation is amazing. The shaky controls due to engine back blast just adds to the epic moment.

Top Gun: The Second Mission was actually not bad. It was sharper and faster, with better graphics, and a totally awesome 2 player mode. Love or hate the first one all you want, but Top Gun: the Second Mission is totally awesome.

I’m 17 and i absolutely love Gameboy and nes games! I love the graphics and the colors. I prefer playing older games, let alone on my Xbox 360 (because of all the gaming memories as younger) Honestly I’m not even fond of the new Ps5… The only cool thing is the fact that miles morales is here and a new Spider man game is on the way🤷🏽
My father. A USAF pilot could not land on the carrier, or his pilot friends or any of us kids. Turns out the directions were completely wrong (1st game), and the game was broken on that but. Still was a crazy game, and thank God ace combat came out 7 years later.
If it werent for its difficult, this game would be easily one of the best for the console. You also have split screen deathmatch! I dont think there´s other NES game that do that.

The enemy planes in the game appear to be MiG-31 (NATO codename "Foxhound"), a highly capable interceptor still in service today long after the Tomcat flew off into the sunset in 2005 or 2006.
I had the original Top Gun game for the NES and I was good at it but I never got the chance to get this one. But after seeing it on TH-cam I think I prefer the original version more.

Man, I have not seen this game twenty years or so. Played the crap out of it back in the days as a kid.
I used to play this with my older brother. One of us would move the rocking chair back and forth to simulate the ships' movements! Fun times.

You could make your plane fly as slow as 512 mph then it was easier. You had to speed up and slow down a certain way.
