Watching this made me feel emotional🥹. I haven’t graduated or anything but this reminds of my last day of year 11 which was about 2 months ago. Everyone was signing each other’s shirts and yearbooks it was such a sad but bittersweet day. Wish I could go back and do that day again. So proud of you of getting into College, Erica!! I just graduated high school yesterday so this video literally brought me back to when we were walking and all the anticipation and anxiety leading up to the main event

Im so jealous of American graduations. When i 'graduated high school' as someone from the UK we just got a 30 minutes goodbye from all of the teachers and principal then left. No class pictures, no paper saying we finished, nothing to remember. Im genuinely annoyed by it lmao.
Secondary? If so fr, we just said bye and like 5 top kids in our year got tesco jam donuts lmao, no assembly or anything , for some reason we didn't sign shirts either

some kids got donuts but there was 300 people in my year and they only bought around 50, honestly though im not mad about it anymore beacuse im glad its over, secondary was one of the lowest points in my life and i tried dropping out 17 times in total. I wanted to complete my gcses onlie or at a local college because the school made me loose myself, but my parents refused and said "theres only afew months left, just try to get through it".
Finishing secondary is the peak highlight of my life and i dont care what my results are as i never have to go back to that school and can improve in my own time using my own methods instead of standardised learning that works of no one but makes it ideal for teachers who don't care about anything but their paycheck.
I burnt my uniform and all of the memories that went along with it. Secondary / highschool is a toxic environment that forces children to grow up too quickly and allows harassment and bullying despite the 'no bullying policies' that they never stand by as its "just a bit if Banater, stop exaggerating".
@@Exiled_Achlys gosh I'm so sorry, I completely agree though secondary was really fucking shit and incredibly toxic, my school is inadequate so the teachers didn't give a shit, students would mess around and bully the hell out of you with no consequences, didn't learn a thing etc etc. The chavs, roadmen, highkey offensive "banter", creepy ass teachers, shitty toilets and food etc is so unpleasant to remember. Although you defo had it tough as you tried dropping out so so many times and burnt your uniform, I just trashed mine lol. The immense relief walking out of those gates for the last time is amazing though. Sorry you went through a living hell though. Are you planning to do a levels or btecs?

Also I'll never regret the relief I felt walking out the school for the last time as a student, its like i was a puppet that had just had the strings cut that attached me to that awful place. It genuinely felt like the weight of the world had just been lifted off my shoulders.

My 2nd sister graduated college and I remember she had tears of joy. I saw her walking down the stairs in her college she was smiling and she came down with tears bc she was so happy. But my 1st sister didn't cry but she was definitely very happy. Looks like it feels good to graduate. Aaaaaaaand CONGRATULATIONS!!!
