There are a lot of skills a driver has to learn in order to, first of all, pass a driving exam, and then after that, to continue to improve and become an accomplished and safe driver. Parking is definitely one of those skills that gives many drivers problems, and one difficulty is simply knowing when and where to stop after you've entered the parking stall. In this video, I'll give you some tips and tricks that you can practice to help you know how to better judge where your vehicle is in relation to other vehicles and objects around you. Thanks for watching!

You are one of the best driving teachers on TH-cam, hands down…. Especially your reverse parking video, I have a car with auto park , but now I park very easily on my own… credits to your video….
Please create more driving videos especially on how to properly use mirrors/blind spot checking, lane changing and highway driving for beginners
    Keep up the great work!

I passed the behind-wheel driving test on June 21st from 1st trial & with 3 minor mistakes ( like stopping a little bit before (4 inches before) in the STOP lane, and turning to the right on the green light a little bit slow ( but my instructor, he was a former policeman) he taught me to make right/left turns on 14- 17 MPH!!! !! And I did the same on the test! And 3d mistake was I just forgot to turn off the right signal when was doing the backing-up portion, lol( to be honest, I was nervous, but didn't show the DMV examiner), I was concentrating on not forgetting to turn my head, and right shoulder back, holding passenger seat, you guys don't forget to turn off signal when f you backing up!!! But he was a nice guy, he understood, I was a little bit worried like all students! And I think If I didn't make those 3 minor mistakes, then that would be suspicious, lol. Just practice, practice a lot, don't be scared, concentrate! And pray!!!
Still, watch your videos, they did help me a lot! I watched a lot of driving instructors' videos on youtube, but you're the best!
    Thank you so much!

Thanks for sharing that! That was great advice for anyone about to take their driving test, and I hope lots of people read your comment. Like you said, it’s very important to practice and learn all you can before your test, and TH-cam videos can really help because you get to see different driving maneuvers being taught and done. Best of luck to you on your driving, and congratulations on getting your license!

@@HowSkills Thank you so much! I do all road rules when I drive, don't want to be like other drivers, as long as they get their driver's license, they break the rules!

I was interested to learn that I would be tested for proper vehicle placement in a parking space when I was training for my German drivers' license. I walked in to take the theoretical part of the driving test, blew through the questions, left before any of the kids sweating over the test (ask me about taking the "intelligence" test during Selective Service processing many years ago). Inspector: "Null Punkte" (zero points = no errors). My wife had the same experience. We studied until we were sick of looking at the training material. Then studied some more. If you come from a state that has a reciprocal agreement with Germany (California doesn't), I highly recommend that you study the rules thoroughly anyway. They are similar and different just enough from the U. S. that you could make a false assumption at the exact wrong time. No guarantees, why not hedge your bets?

Studying hard always pays off, and you and your wife are proof of that!
