SpaceX Preparations on Starship Flight 4 launch schedule! New problems...SpaceX Weekly #4
These calm days at Starbase might just be the calm before the storm. Even though the testing with S29 and B11 has tapered off recently, it doesn't mean that nothing is happening. SpaceX is still actively upgrading systems from the test site to the launch site in preparation for upcoming plans, starting with Flight 4. So let's take a flyover of Starbase on today's episode of Great SpaceX to see what they've been up to over the past few days in anticipation of the exciting times ahead.
SpaceX Preparations on Starship Flight 4 launch schedule! New problems...SpaceX Weekly #4
Let's first go over the activities at the Massey Test Site. Right now, construction of the flame trench at the test stand systems is in full swing. Towards the end of last month, two sections of the water-cooled manifold system were delivered to Starbase. And just at the start of this month, the final section joined them. With all sections now on site, installation kicked off promptly.

Last week, cranes were bustling with activity at the site. A sizable block, likely part of the flame bucket, was hoisted by a crane and carefully maneuvered into place beside the trench. With the flame holes already excavated, it seems this component is poised for integration into the main system in the near future.

🌞 good morning
Have a nice day ☺️
Centrifugal gravity is not magnetic gravity of earth's double torus OOrt cloud magnetosphere.
It’s amazing and has moved us into a new capacity to bring and expand life as a safeguard to humanity
Excellent stuff bro
❤😂🎉😅I wish SpaceX, CEO and SpaceX Team amazing success.
♥️♥️♥️
As fascinating as all this is I can't help getting past the fact that the whole idea of it is insane
I think they should build a catch tower that is located farther down the road away from the tank farm and the launch tower.
Yeah, I'm agree to you
Why not make a smaller version of Starship for the Falcon 9?
The Shuttle didn't have a "robust escape system." 135 launches, built the ISS, and hundreds of people take to and from space.
Pumping the sunshine pretty hard there .
What if, instead of refueling, there is an additional stage rocket that attaches to the main and uses that stage as a booster in space to get to the desired destination?
The refuel is important but I really like the idea of placing boosters in orbit for missions or emergency. We know somewhere in the future there will be a mishap that will cost life. But you know Apollo 13 was a great triumph and that was with no emergency hardware available.
@@hilaryhenderson1443 The best refuel is no refuel -Imagining what Elon Musk would say.
I'm not hoping or claiming this, but I foresee a disaster with loss of life, which may compel them to build a capsule into the Starship design, such as converting the top section and relocating the header tank.
All of these "AI Generated" TH-cam channels are getting worse as opposed to improving with time... my preference is "Marcus House"
Thanks for your contribution. We'll try harder to make better video, so keep following and discussing on our channel. I hope you always give a big love for rocket and space exploration

@@GlennSteffy I'm with you Glenn. Everyone was fawning with 'internet love' when they heard a curse come from "Kevin" a few weeks ago; thinking that it was proof "he" was not AI to which I say, BS. AI is improving to the point that it can insert little blunders and cursing to parrot humans.
Show me "Kevin" speaking in the same voice and style as we're hearing here.

Regarding Raptor engine improved thrust and specific impluse . What about replacing the turbine powered turbo pumps with turbine ramjet combo powered turbo pumps. Of course enlarge manifold, cases and tubings. In addition, use more titanium parts instead of stainless steel.
Just a thought.
To complex along with additional weight.
Starship will need landing legs for the "Site to Site" version, unless their planning on building multiple catch towers all around the world. The returning Mars Starships could be left in high earth orbit and the returning astronauts could be ferried back to earth by the Dream Chaser or something similiar
He isn't any closer to achieving what he contracted to do with NASA. He wants to risk the launch pad on unproven engines. You couldn't make this up. This is why musk is now America's other unstable stable genius. Go check out his contracted timeline and see what you can find that is compliant with the contract. NASA isn't as stupid as muskrats, and they are looking to replace their mistake with something fit for purpose. Where's the tortoise, give it your best guess Thom.
Fuel tanks in low orbit for refueling
Bad at Math: 0.0001 G is NOT 1/10 th G
It’s 1/10000 th G
One ten thousandth of a G.
Error At around 19:25 in the recording
Heat the fuel to be transferred, pressure would be increased and push the fuel to the orbiting ship. No pump weight. No acceleration complications
Try drawing a free-body diagram of this scenario.

Hi Great Spacex. You need to go back and reedit the audio. Several repeated words and the tempo changes several times. Not a quality product this time.
Have SpaceX thought about using a nuclear powered ferry to move Starships from moon orbit to Mars orbit??
Nuclear is efficient but it's risky
@@colonbina1 Possibly less so by the time all is ready to make the crossing. 🙂
@@wanglydiaplt Where do you put the radioactive exhaust gas? It will eventually fall to Earth.
Two same star ships with same flue tanks which can in space change too each ships with a mechanical arms too each ships.
No news?
Once on moon an high orbit they build supply rockets a mile long if they want the robots will be put to work in orbit
Moon lander Starship needs some big ass legs for landing
Am I dumb for thinking a short fat starship for the moon
2 titles, same contents ??
Seems like tumbling would be better than accelerating for fuel transfer. It wouldn't affect your orbit and you could get more Gs without wasting a bunch of fuel.
repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat
No. Starship IFT-4 will not fly May 4th.
U know?
@@matteo_tavee4365 Because the investigation into the third test flight is not yet closed.
If the QD on the booster was mounted higher the forces it would be subjected to would be less.
Also if the QD was designed in a more vertical linear way the forces would also be less.
A vertical alignment of the QD on the Booster/Starship would also be more conducive to fuel transfer in space on a round rocket.
My hydrodynamics is lacking in this area but don't liquids turn into gasses with less gravity?

Does anyone listen to your monologs before uploading them to TH-cam? For months I've been listening to the person reading the script for each video and he sounds like Trump when he repeats random words,. He isn't doing it to emphasize a point. It truly sounds like you are stitching together parts of the monolog. If you are stitching sentences together that's fine but try to eliminate the redundant words. Work smarter not harder!
It's the AI curse, which is all this channel is.
Let's try to weave my trump hate into everything I do Can't You Just Let It Go
Your post has it relevant argument's, aswell as AI its made.
However your negativity towards a mans dreams that are becoming more and more and MORE realistic, which silences your AI generated screams are sooo sad...even with your pull down of SpaceX and her endevours with the AI and effort on your lowly behalf. I bet it took ages to make this post ....hahaaa , while we all ate out , had fun with partners , our kids etc ...my response took me 30seconds to your AI post .....😂
Bullshit!
His employees didn't seem even remotely motivated to cheer musk's next -brainfart- stage of his vision that they have to achieve for him, not even once through the entire performance of his -ketamine- visions. A bit like the ability to get the booster back in one piece after three failures in a row. in the last failure it was traveling over Mach one as it disintegrated in the air, it didn't even manage to crash into the sea. He told us Starships, plural, would be on Mars by now and so far, his Starship hasn't survived either any of the tests either, that's a lot of engines destroyed, just as well it is the American taxpayer that is footing the bill, eh? What fuel demo, we never saw any fuel test that NASA has paid SpaceX for. Why not show us the timeline you are contracted to with NASA and what you have actually achieved. You don't need to Thunderf00t has already done that just in case you didn't. smh.
Scepticism should be welcomed but your level of negativity is irrational and seems rooted in emotion. No large project goes from start to finish without a few hiccups and those who work on these projects necessarily do so with optimism which might lead them to give overly optimistic predictions. Did you spend all your savings on a dodgy Tesla?
@@giddy9052 Sorry but I'm afraid you've got cognitive dissonance.
@@IbnBahtuta that would have sounded smart of you'd used the phrase correctly.
Clearly you are simply an Elon hater. I'd love to have heard you when they were developing and testing the Falcon program. Of course, depending on your politics, you could have been an Elon fan back then.
Exxon can start a space fueling enterprise buying boosters from SpaceX and building the earth infracture freeing SpaceX the invest in rockets and build vehicles. SpaceX will be the "Ford" of space vehicles ( coming out with new models every year and oh the accessories).
Oh . . . Oh Ahhhh those awesome accessories. Like Rovers, Robots, and can't forget the Boring Co machine to dig housing! ! !
As fascinating as all this is I can't help getting past the fact that the whole idea of it is insane
