    I had a ton of fun coming up with the character and working it into the world was really enjoyable! Now I'm excited to see what we do in- and outside of combat!

      The heroes you four made are amazing and we are going to have a blast. I’m definitely looking forward to fight scenes as the mechanics are great. Equally, I’m excited for the scenes in between - especially when the masks are off.

    This was a tough watch, especially after the two hour mark when a bunch of people with a shaky grasp of the game mechanics are trying to choose Red abilities with little or no effort at coordinating with each other or enough time to really consider their options. Choosing Reds ought to be their homework, not just character questionnaires. They're really important to how a character works mechanically, and practically the only free choices you get under the Guided method. Not really grokking the basic game engine doesn't help here, either. How many people at that table (GM included) realize you can take a minor twist to use abilities a GYRO zone early, meaning those Reds can and will get used sometimes during Yellow, not just the end of a scene or when you're almost Out?
    One thing I just cannot let slide without feeling guilty:
    Re-read what the Red Impenetrable Defense ability actually does. Stops a lot of damage to the user for a whole round. That's it. Some villains absolutely can breach that defense, no one is actually forced to attack the user so you aren't helping your team much against foes smart enough to realize they aren't hurting you, and it eats your action so without some other trick (a good reaction, or the very common combo with the Red Social ability Inspiring Totem) all that character is is a punching bag. This isn't a system with a lot of outside healing sources so stalling for time while the cleric patches you up isn't happening, and just being tough to hurt isn't good enough when you (or the scene) are in Red. If you want to be tough to finish off in Red without running a combo go look at reactions - many of which will help your team as well as you, and they won't burn your action.
