2:12 summarizes the Kloten’s season.
LOL , you even see reinbacher skate up to them like "really guys..?"
lmao
Thank you man! Short and sweet. Strait to the point, no clickbait. LOVE IT!
I'm quite curious to see how Reinbacher's handling skill and reception ability (1st touch) progress under the tutelage of Adam Nicholas and Martin St. Louis. If his breakout game integrates versatility as both a passer and carrier, he'll have the key foundational tools and habits to be a solid 2nd pairing piece and can build from there
He needs a full season on North American ice .So NHL is unlikely apart from 9 games limit
@@goenzoy712 Definitely not this year, next year will depend on camp really, and especially if Mailloux makes the jump or not
If he's not top 2, its a bad choice. When you pick top 7 you need to get first liners and top 2 defensemen.
Not really to build a team what can win you need more then top 2 defence pair .
And if a top prospect is only doing 82 games on ELC with 3rd pair it clearly can be useful
@@homersimpson6040shall I list every top 5 bust for you, it’s a long list. When you get a really good player in the top 5 it’s a good pick. Most people would consider a 3-4 defenseman on a Stanley cup contender a really good player.
Reinbacher, Hutson, Mailloux, Harris, Ghule, Xhekaj, Engstrom, Konyushkov, Struble, Tourigny, Trudeau, Mittlestad and Barron...Find me a team more stacked in quality defensive prospect right now. Next draft and trade, forwards all the way !
Our prospect pool is stacked
Not quality but quantity
Literally only Guhle has proven top4 capability from that list. I’m high on our prospects but none of these guys are sure #1 D at the nhl level yet.
Wrong
Be patient young grasshopper
If Reinbacher can become a solid defensive defencemen and allow someone like Hutson to go wild offensively I would still count that has a big win for the Habs.
Love the video M.St-Louis.
Can't wait to see Popcorn in the pre-season! Kid is going to be a stud.
Thanks for the video David!
Great video as usual. I was wondering what is the track called you use in the backround?
Thank you! City Echoes from Epidemic sound
@@davidst-louis8315 appreciate it, can’t wait for more Habs content related to Lane, Demidov, Reinbacher maybe even Dach! although he is not a prospect.
Good video
I still cannot understand why Montreal went for that guy when they are in desperate need of offensive players.
IF they really needed a defense guy they should at least waited for this year draft
Just look at the top 5 defense players in the 2024 draft they are miles ahead of Reinbacher.....
2 things...1. Defensemen takes around 2 to 3 more year than forwards to develop unless they are pure exception like Makar or Ekblad. So we have to be patient and you can't compare that easy. 2. While yes Montréal needed offense, if you look at the depth chart of Montréal, with the addition of Reinbacher, the defense is stack on both side, meaning they can main focus on forwards on all move whether it's trade, signing or draft. That year at that point in time, the best prospect available at that position was Reinbacher, he pretty much was the best defenseman of that draft. Mitchkov was picky on his team he wanted and problematic and Leonard was a mid to long term project. Reinbacher is maybe a one more year to be ready. I still think it's the right move today.
This years crop of D is overrated IMO. Levshunov has potential, but Reinbacher’s better decision making and defensive game make him safer. Buium I think could be a stud. Other than that I wouldn’t hesitate to take Reinbacher over the others.
but we have demidov now so im not maf anymore buy michkov made it clear he wanted play with philly tho
@@JeanJames-ff3wxThanks to Chicago and Anaheim Drafting Demidov was really unexpected. I'm really happy about it but imagine if we had both Michkov and Demidov!
@@dioude6745ok if that happend we would become leafs 2.0 with no defence core
Kloten was not a good place to develop
I feel like NHL prospects should never develop in european mens league. Especially on shitty teams. Same with Dvorsky.. 0 points in 10 games in Sweden, no he will finish top 3 PPG in OHL. Slaf the same, I think if he played junior leagues in NA instead of Finland there would be little doubt he should go first and he would have been familiar with NA hockey much sooner.. I have high hopes for them and David tbh
Great Vid dude
Yessss
If he turns out to be to Hutson what Hronek is to Hughes then we more then good
Reinbacher is way better than Hronek will ever be. People don't realize how offensively skilled Reinbacher is. He and Hutson should not be on the same D-pairing.
@@rebeltvr6046 so far my future projected top 4 is a mix of Guhle, Hutson, Reinbacher, and Mailloux. Two left hand shots, two right hand shots, and all have the proper talent to be there. I think they put whoever is best at pure defending with Hutson out of Mailloux or Reinbacher as theyre right handed. But this is after 3 seasons when Matheson walks.
@@stevenst6337 I can see this happening. I think it'll be Hutson-Reinbacher for the offense and Guhle-Mailloux for the shutdown. But the latter is also offensively gifted. This is going to be a powerhouse top-4 D for the Habs
You mean top 4 defensemen
His ceiling is Elite/Top Pairing, floor is Top 4.
Top teams usually have a number 1 D and 3 top-four Ds that move around. I think Reinbacher is more of a 2-4. As he's RH, he may be favored for that n.2 slot.
@@Hydraxasbut definitly not 1D like a Seider but still very good prospect for sure
@@davidst-louis8315 definitly
top 2 , he was drafted #5!
He is definitely a big part of the Habs moving forward. They just have to fire their coach, Martin St-Poohi
I'm offended. It's such a great name!
respect man, but the inside joke is I am in montreal, and Lac St-Loius is def know as St-Poohi....I think Martin is overrated, no offence to your name.@@davidst-louis8315
you probably start to watch hockey tomorrow to say things like that haha ! amateur
Omg you are a goof
good video and reinbacher is always welcome to my team ❤💙🤍 and we also have demidov oh man this team are going to be at least wild cardd in few years i would say 1 or 2 but i say 1 for now in 2026
