@@PharmaceuticalCalculationsEasy I need help sir Question: A physician orders diphenhydramine (Benadryl) 50 mg IM q4 h. The available stock is 25 mg/2 mL. Calculate the amount to dispense?
Q3 for the ear drops can be also solved by C1V1=CfVf C1V1= 75%xV1 CfVf=50%x60ml V1=50x60/75=40mL alcohol, Then 60mL(total volume)_40mL(alc)=20mL water 🌊
You are absolutely correct TK. You can solve question 4 using the approach you shared in the comment. Thank you for watching and for actively supporting the channel.
Ejemplo 2. Yo lo resolví así, En 2000 ml hay 200 g de acido clorhídrico, ya que está al 10%, en 100 ml de solución hay 10 g en 2000 ml hay 200 g de HCl, al agregar los 400 ml de la solución y quedar al 10%, significa que agregamos 200 g de HCl, la solución pesa 400*1.16=464 g si fuera todo ácido clorhídrico sería el 100%, pero de esos 464 g hay 200 g de HCl que sería el 43.1% o también en 464 g de solución hay 200 g en 100 g de solución hay 43.1 g de HCl o sea 43.1% de HCl-
why is it that in certain question we convert using specific gravity in the beginning (phosphoric acid question) and in others we convert right in the end (eg in the 400ml conc HCL question) because if we solve it in the beginning and end gives us two different answers!
Thank you so much for this, really helps to visualize the problems and ultimately understand them better
Thank you Déan for watching and for the kind comment.

why does the amount of drug remain the same if a small volume is removed froma bigger volume?

104.65 percent??? Is a percent meant to be more than 100?
Someone please explain how C1 =50% in question 2 plx
C1V1 = CfVf
C1 ×400ml= 10 %w/v ×2000ml
10%w/v×2000ml over all divided by 400ml
# 50%w/v
