i found my ideal spec exige v6 and test drove it, loved it, went home to get everything sold to fund it and the car sold :( back to the drawing board, problem i've found is they are rare enough that its quite difficult to find a particular spec/colour unless you are happy to wait a long time, and buying new is just a bit out of budget unfortunately
I've had great luck with Aston-Martin/Lotus of New England in the Boston, MA, USA area - it's a small dealer but the service guys are excellent and really know the marque!

I just recently purchased a Lotus Evora 400, and after talking to, and pricing out, ALL of the dealers in the AMERICA, the best dealer I found... the one who got me my car was Bret Abraham @ Auto Europa in Detroit. He's gone above and beyond. Extremely knowledgable about Lotus which is rare in America, even at Lotus dealers - not to mention he's but a few country miles from Lotus USA headquarters which he seems to have a great relationship with. I live in Southern California BTW... love the videos.
Why are Evora 400’s overpriced??.....most cars out there are 5-7k over the various estimate valuations!.....can’t understand why garages are artificially keeping the prices of these cars high.
I'd say do it! Got to drive an Elise in my previous job and it was a real blast. If I ever became wealthy enough to have a collection of cars there would be space in my garage for a Lotus no doubt.
Hi James. I'm a couple of months in from buying myself a Lotus Evora 400... and although I've already had some issues (creaky seat, airbag light, horrible Lotus Dealership here in San Diego)... I LOVE the car. Can't wait till I'm over the milage a bit so I can really crank it up. But I have a question for you... Does your Lotus, or others that you know, have a bit of a rattling problem with the clutch? Mine does. When I am in low RPM's and accelerate in 1st, 2nd gear there is a distinctive rattle coming from the clutch... when I press the clutch in, the sound goes away. Even when I am in neutral I hear the sound at times... press in the clutch and it goes away. Do you have this? Can it/should it, be fixed?

Hello again Sometime people who have some money to pick a certain car may put it off for a new roof or extension or some other household emergency . Coming up with why its still not bought is wrong glove box stitching etc. If laurie didn't have a shed would he have bought 2 fire engines . your a much better a presenter when the owner is with you and Not so Clarkson with your Brother in-law car . Oh maybe put a P for product placement might help with those dealer discounts I hope my full stops and commas meet with your car channel unlike the pointless tit from prev .
Johnny Psycho I actually had both fire engines before we aquired the shed. It was the getting the second that led to the shed. The rest of the collection followed because of the shed.

The clutch can rattle in neutral, the cars do grumble a bit at low rpm and that is normal for early 400s
