Mere pass yahi board hai aur maine bhi rectifier aur filter capacitors change kia hai aur 12-0-12, 5 Ampere transformer (full copper) use kia hai, 8 ohms 60 watts 6 inch speaker se chalaya par volume jada badane se sound fat raha hai. Kya karen jisse sound na fate?

Nice tips . I would like to add more. Just replace the 3055 transistors to original bell 3055 transistors and add a supply 30-0-30 volt, 4 amp...and see the result. You even don't need to add any bass-treble board.
I have changed the rectifiers and filter capacitors and using 12-0-12, 5 Ampere copper transformer as I don't have 18-0-18 v transformer but there's distortion in sound if I increase volume higher. I have read that in amplifier if supply voltage is Less then output power will be less, but why distortion? Is it due to duplicate transistors (3773) used in this Monty Brand board or due to bass treble circuit? What's the best solution to avoid distortion at high volume? I'm using 8 ohms 60 watts 6 inch speaker.
@@amitghosh6966 Speakers play an important role. Please try to use branded speakers instead of locally made speakers.
The transistors used by Monty are not at all good at handling high current. Use Bel 3055VH3 4083 transistors for excellent results.
Please check the bias resistors with a high quality multimeter. These should be accurate and if possible use 1 watt resistors in place of 1/4 watt in bias.
Also please don't forget to change the power filter capacitors to at least 4700 mfd, 35 volt (Kelton caps are arguably the best these days).
I hope your problem will be solved.
Another tip: Use 47k potentiometer in volume control and 100k in bass treble control.
