@@BirdCannon Weirdly this is actually kinda legit. It was added to the final update to Smash Ultimate. So at least in the Smash universe, Doomslayer and Isabelle are married. Just want to emphasize how weird this actually is...people have been pairing Isabelle and Doomslayer for a while, but always in a platonic friends kinda way (don't get me wrong, I'm sure R34 of them exists, but this was not a ship most people were pushing). It was actually Nintendo, the most anal retentive company when it comes to IP, that went "...now kiss" Edit: Also, can I just say I really don't like that they're married. Strong bestiality vibes. It went from cute to creepy super fast. In my head I just assume they're not romantically involved. They just got married so Isabelle could get Doomguys' military benefits....which actually happens a lot in real life too.
@@SuchNewt I mean, I get what you're saying and I understand if you or other people are uncomfortable with the ship. It's a valid feeling given how one is a human space marine and the other is a dog girl secretary..., buuuut I'd argue it's not too creepy because, well, Isabelle isn't a normal dog. She literally can talk and communicate like a human. Not to mention marriage doesn't have to always be about the physical stuff. You can find a partner that simply resonates with you and you love talking to and spending time with. That argument could be applied to Doom Guy. That after so much time killing Demons he found someone who is very warm and kind that he just loves spending as much time with her as possible. Again, I don't blame you if you are uncomfortable with the ship. I get it. But I can also see arguments in favor of the ship too.
