I'd say the last 40 years have been tough - my partner left me 40 years ago to bring up our beautiful baby girl alone. But it's been even more difficult the last 15 and since I had Covid I've no energy left to fight
14 years ago I was paralysed completely- only able to blink, it's taken everything to get where I am today, when you said 15 years I just had to comment..

15 years. The hardest of my life, all at once. Divorce, family business collapse, father’s death, lawyers, bankers, bankruptcy and they continue to fight. So many other ‘little things’ like learning who my true friends are is like the icing on the cake. I know it’s nearly over, but what’s left? Somehow, through all of this, I still believe and I have no idea why. Tom Petty wrote, “Something good’s coming for you and me, something good’s coming, it has to be.”
