"Yes, Your Grace!" (Snowfall) - Imho I like the concept of strategic long-term decision-making vs the human-immediate element. It's a really nice way of presenting "strategy" whereas the classic hex style strategy games although fun can feel a bit more like resource-management or puzzle optimization imho. So this is a really nice combination if they get the balance between drives right. Alliance of the Sacred Suns - Grand Strategy is probably what I feel is expressing the strategy aspects more fully! So this is a good eg of that kind of sub-genre's depth. Looks promising and as you say sort of Game Of Thrones complexity of betrayal and managing alliances. Millenia - Holds a lot of promise as a Paradox published title. The epochs and crisis and alt. history could be interesting albeit history is more fixed than say Stellaris in the future!
Great to see that Dutch developer Abbey Games stayed in business long enough to develop a sequel to their great first game Reus. Also for your information Reus is Dutch for giant.
Thank you very much for including Kaiserpunk in your video, we do appreciate it a lot. 🙂 And for your viewers, feel free to wishlist & follow Kaiserpunk if you like what you see. 🙂
Based on the name, I'd expect Alliance of the Sacred Suns to be more directly inspired by Emperor of the Fading Suns. Maybe modernised via CK, but still that's the more obvious connection to me.
As I have said before, I appreciate that you add links. Will you face problems for having these links by TH-cam? I understand that TH-cam is trying to limit links.
thanks for including Folk Emerging! And glad to be in such good company with all these awesome games :)
Thanks for highlighting Planetiles, we greatly appreciate it! ❤

Hi, can you make a list of games like Zelda link to the past, thanks
One I cant wait for is the expansion for factorio
I wish Songs of Conquest and / or Mechabelum were in this video. But maybe 2024 is not their year, we will see
I can't tell you why but I've hated hex tiles since Battle Masters.
They just help to avoid that diagonal squares issue in wargames. Plus they make maps layout more natural.
Hell ye crown of grred
More, more , more games like heroes 3 , but not disciples 2
"hex grid" = oxymoron
