Great Job Steve. I'm with the Twin Ports squadron of the CAF at Superior, WI. We are fortunate to also have an L-5 in our roster. For the past six years our crew has rebuilt our L-5 from the ground up. Our particular aircraft is equipped with a litter or a second seat. Our aircraft 'Karin' Belle' is ready to fly, however, since it doesn't have a cabin heater she's stored for the winter season until this Spring. It gets a little cold and snowy up here.
I happen to live just down from the home of the Air Commandos (Hurlburt AFB) here in the panhandle of Florida.

Indeed a bit chilly near Lake Superior. We might have to check in on that airplane next year -- when it is warmer! Thanks for the kind words as well!!
The L5 was featured in an episode of the Six Million Dollar Man called " Little Orphan Airplane).
