I’m kind of torn. I want him to have an actual look that’s consistent and looks like he fights demons from the Deadside and I like his coat and casual look as well. I feel like they should treat his loa like Spawn treats his suit. It can be whatever he wants it to be.
I don’t think Shadowman has worked in the Valiant universe. The character may be better suited to a Vertigo style book (ala the Garth Ennis issues from the Acclaim run)
Honestly the only shadowman comic ive read is cullen bunn's shadowman. And the shadowman suit that i like the most is cullen bunn's shadowman i hope they keep 2021 shadowman costume in aj ampadu's run on shadowman and also in justin's run im not a fan of shadowmans blade looking like a club which im glad in 2021 his blade no longer looks like a club and looks clean. And i just noticed that shadowman gets less lackluster comics than ninjak, bloodshot , and xo manowar.

It certainly depends on who’s writing. I have thought all of the series have been good accept the latter part of the Cullen Bunn run.
This character is very similar to ghost Rider but talking DC I think the closest character to Shadowman is The Shade Richard Swift
