BeautyandtheStamper Also, if you add a sticker or image at the bottom of a mold like your last piece, usually pour a tiny bit of resin down first, then put the sticker in and slide it back and forth to remove air bubbles and it possibly floating to the top during curing. Yours looked like it turned out good unless resin didn’t make it under the sticker to seal it in. Sorry about your shot glass mold. That sucks. But love how they turned out. Another hint if you don’t know...if the mold surface is shiny, your piece will be. If it’s dull, your piece will look frosty. :)
I went to your live class Saturday and when I went through zoom I waited a long time 30 - 40 minutes because it said wait your host will join you to the class soon or something like that. I missed a lot of your class; sorry. I finally figured out how to get in. Also, you may have already done it and I missed it, but if you could show us on a video what we will be making we could get the right kinds of paper and supplies. Some of my things were wrong especially my paper. Thanks anyway.
I did see you there. I couldn’t hear you, but I did wave, in case. You saw me. I had the list of supplies on the email invitation. I did remake a video of one of the projects that will go live Wednesday morning.
Hello Jean. I'm so sorry that the silicone mold did that to you. They did turn out really cute though. I love the Be Still one, that will make a beautiful magnet. Till next time. 😁
I'm pretty sure you can't drink from anything made from resin. You should be reading up on this before you do your projects. You need a disclaimer at the beginning of your video.
Resin is dissolved by alcohol. These will not be safe to consume liquid from. I have researched heaps of resins, and they tend to be FDA approved for dry food only.
@@covinaes4488 once it is cured it doesn't dissolve it as once its fully cured it is nothing more than a plastic theyre safe for cold liquids only not anything that's just been brewed such as coffee
They are beautiful. How do you do that, putting the sticker on the side.❤❤❤😊
I put it in after the resin is put in the mold.
Loved the multi colored shot glasses
Good morning! Love you! You are always busy!
Hi Jean these are very cute 👍 TFS Happy Monday to you 🌸 stay safe and God Bless you
Decorative idea
Loved it
great video thank you.
Nice!!❤😊
Thank you ☺️
I'm reading different opinions on shot glasses. Can you drink from these as they are?
Hi Jean where do you buy that stuff to make them. I love it.
Seal paper stickers between clear packing tape.
Perfect, thank you for this tip!!!

Love them❣️ I definitely wanna try this
Mica and glitter = Perfect mermaid color! Can you sand the black silicon off maybe? Does the clear always come out with a yellow tinted to it?
I’m not sure on the yellow tint
So nice
Thanks
Thanks for the video
It beautiful I like 👍👍👍
Thank you very much
Where did you buy the molds for the shot glasses from?
I found them on Amazon
Could you stick a toothpick in the Be Still one and make a necklace. I have never worked with silicone and I and just pulling ideas out of the air.
You probably could
You need to spray the molds with mold release. Even if it’s silicone, mold release helps.
Oh, this is the first I’ve heard of mold release

What type of torch are you using? They seem scary to me, especially because the house might blow to the land of Oz !!!
It’s a chefs torch... lol
This what ruined the mold. The torch
those molds are meant for ice cubes not resin.
Those r cute but it was my understanding u cant drink from them. Please let me know if that's correct or not
I was curious if you can drink out of it and if so. what kind of resin to use for making shot glasses
@@skylolo7359 I have learned that there is a resin that is food grade safe. I think Let's Resin is where I seen it.
I hear ya i dont think its anybody's year Jean
Looks like they tore in the areas you used the torch only 🙄 try 91% alcohol instead to remove bubbles so you won't ruin any more molds in the future
Thank you, I’ll give that a try
They tell you that 91% alcohol can change a non toxic resin into a not food safe formula since isopropyl alcohol is highly poisonous
You have to be extremely careful using a torch on silicone molds. You’d be much better off using a heat gun so it doesn’t melt the molds
A heat gun will certainly melt silicone aswell a blow torch and heat gun melt if its held over for more than a few seconds
@@AaronW-ww4ds okay let me reword that then.. you can lightly run a heat gun, on low, instead of a torch.

The Amazing Casting brand is FDA compliant and is the one I’ve been using, personally.

Get your hands out of the way so we can see what your doing.
