    We heat the metal with a hair dryer before pulling as hot as we can get it without blistering the paint. Seems to help with the popping back in issue on most pulls. And we don't use liquid.

    The Bondo one took the worst damage out. 40% out of my truck and moms Yukon. It was worth the buy. That aluminum looks way better and stronger. Don't have a Harbor Freight close by.. but I'm about to go get the glue gun pulling kit at Harbor Freight to work out the rest in detail as best as it/I can

    I was skeptical on this. It looks like they really work though ! So I ordered one of these just now. My Toyota Corolla has a dent on it and the dent itself has a flat surface so I expect a very good grip. I was going to pull the inner panel out to try to push the dent out but I’ll give this a chance.

    That dent kept popping back in (oil canning) because of the dent above it that was in the hard body line, you can move metal with those, you’re not going to fix anything, heat , water, doesn’t matter, once you move the metal up, move the work is shaping the outside with knock downs or a polished blending hammer. The hot glue dent lifter is one of the methods for pulling up a dent, and it will still be shallow or you’ll pull it high, it’s a rare thing to pull it perfectly. You need a reflection light, knock downs and a blending hammer. If you have a nice car, and a dent with un damaged paint, call a experienced PDR tech, or you will be taking it in for conventional body shop repairs. Those suction cups don’t fix shit, and if the dent is that shallow you can probably tap the buckled area and it will probably release on its own

    Great vid! I use those dent pullers all the time. I have a question. Where do you buy electrical parts for your BMW repairs? I have a 2002 BMW e53 4.4 and it has a bunch of electrical issues that I need to fix, but I can't find any quality parts that are relatively cheap. Thanks

    After watching it seems like once you have a dent your pretty much stuck with it? Not sure im even going to waste the money or time for it, i could be wrong..

    How about you heat it a little from the inside of the trunk and hold it there until it cools down so it will stay out?

    I do have a small dent, and I think most of that suction cup are too big. So I'll prolly use the mount from my old navigation device.

    Maybe you need to learn how to use a suction cup first ?

    • @blakewoodcrest4403
      @blakewoodcrest4403 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The suction design is flatter on these types of tools, it’s not like a nerf hoop or something like that that you stick to a flat surface. Also, if there’s not enough pressure in the pull mechanism, the error is a poor design by the manufacturer.
