Been to shooting star camp many times. Shane has owned it for over 35 years. I have stayed at all his camps and love them all. Fishing is world class weather you are on lakes or the Spanish river

Awesome brook trout fishing. There's also huge monster brookies here in Cape Breton but are impossible to get in the lakes, but in the big rivers, they'll bite on certain days. The last day of our trout season was last week, me and 2 friends got 9 fat brookies from 14 to 22 inches, awesome fun. Good luck on your future fishing journeys. Great videos.

Awesome video! I’m a lobsterman from the mid coast of Maine. I have a passion for Brook trout. I would love to fish up there...

Wow, what a great video! Any tips on a camp like this one but going by yourself? I see that you can hike in or atv with your own canoe

I've used a #4 mepps comet in orange and black and in the exact same spot caught pike, largemouth, and, oddly enough, brown bullhead

Great show! I notice that you didn't use a swivle with your mepps - any concern about line twist? Also what line do you recommend to toss the small spinners?
