My only guess is that it's way easier to do a robotic voice than an actual voice. Using an actual voice just has so much trouble.
- making sure your tone of voice is correct based on the context
- you need a mic
- you need to adjust with audio
- you need to make your voice sound high in quality
- if you don't like a take then you'd have to re-record the voiceover again.
- very tiring since you have to talk a lot
