the best orchestration!
1:31 and 5:23 that rendition of Mussorgsky's "the great gate of Kiev" is awesome
4:32 so is that rendition of Dvořák's first movement from the new world symphony
The second iteration of The Great Gate of Kiev is so epic and majestic
@@laiyinquan8355 although i prefer the first one
@@matteocaiti4878 Well, to each their own. I respect that
Very nice!
You're a genius for real
More! More!
Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, which is used in this medley, is used in Fantasia 2000
hidden gem
Yeees piaaaaaano!!!!!!
Only three substitutions for this one, but can you identify them?
1:00 Elgar
4:31 Dvořák
5:08 Rameau / Mahler (this one counts as two: the original popular tune is attributed to Rameau, whereas Mahler adapted the theme into a minor key for one of his pieces)
Elgar - Enigma Variations Var VII
@@shengjunwang6480 Minor correction, Mahler uses it in the third movement, other than that you got all of them!
th-cam.com/video/Er4VRighZHc/w-d-xo.html in the grantwoodlard video there in the song? piece by Leonard Bernstein's tonight from the west side story but in your transcription its nowhere to be found
@@gracetester1607 I decided to drop it since it was not public domain, and doing so allows the Gershwin to shine out as a piano solo
5:08 replaced prokofiev's dance of the knights
0:42 that rendition of Humoresque no. 7 sounds identical to the one heard in Animaniacs as Slappy Squirrel's leitmotif
I sense some some Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Tom and Jerry, and Winnie the Pooh vibes somewhere in this music
Don't forget Little Einsteins
2:22Nokia Cellphone
Gran Vals
I like piano solo break at 1:20.
Bernstein’ song is missing :(
Hi, so is sheet music still not available? I’m not trying to rush you, but I’m pretty sure you said it would be available by July. Just curious, that’s all
Hi Ryan,
I submitted the sheet music for Full Orchestra (1-4) to JW Pepper last week but they got some of the parts mixed up so even though it's live on their website I would not recommend purchasing it yet. I am contacting them to resolve it. I have your response from the Google form and will email you once the issue is resolved on their end!
If you wish to contact me directly you can do so through email, Twitter, or my website which can be found here: th-cam.com/users/peteryangabout
Where have you disappeared to? When can we see your new videos?
The violin classical music at 2:00 sounds like music for SpongeBob or Ren and Stimpy or something
3:47 Empieza la parte más dramática, como épica.
Where will the sheet music be available on?
Score and parts will be available digitally and in print on JW Pepper. If you are interested please fill out the form in the description to receive a notification when it's ready!
And Is this recorded with NotePeformer or some other sound set?
For sounds I use:
Cinematic Studio Strings, Winds, and Brass
EastWest Hollywood Orchestral Percussion
Native Instruments NOIRE Piano
I do use NotePerformer while writing the score, but I replace all the sounds with the above sound libraries in a DAW before publishing it to everyone.
What classical pieces?
What Mozart piece is that in 2:35?
I believe its "Minuet from Divertimento in D major K.334" (if ya still wanna know)
5:24 the best moment!
Where be musician faces? 😢😂
5:46 what is this music??
I think it's gershwin - rhapsody in blue.
@@serhattaskesen3635 THANKS!! ♡
Yes, there’s some nods to Little Einsteins in this medley
who told prokofiev is not in the public domain?
Public domain copyright in the US is a little more complicated but most of the popular Russian 20th century composers will have a copyright expiration of 95 years after their initial publication. However in the EU it is only year of death of the author plus 70 years which means Prokofiev will be public domain in the EU starting next year! In 2012, the US supreme court upheld a case which took many works from Stravinsky, Shostakovich, and Prokofiev out of public domain for another couple of decades.
Here's a little more information on the topic
- imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Copyright_Made_Simple
- www.wqxr.org/story/182225-prokofiev-and-shostakovich-public-domain-no-more/
@@peteryang I'm Canadian, so copyright lasts for only 50 years
@@peteryang it's a shame because i'm from Italy and i was planning to make a web series about classic musics and one of the music happens to be the first movement of Shostakovich's piano concerto no. 2
DUDE, where is Prokofiev, theme from Romeo and Juliet? So Why did you delete this?
it wasn't public domain
