Sweet 16 Birthday MEGA SHOPPING SPREE!!!

For Alyssa's actual birthday day, I took her (and Chloe) out for a girls day shopping spree. We went to an art store and I let her splurge. We went out to eat, and shopped till we almost got locked in the mall. When we got home, we opened presents with the family and found that her cake had a bit of an accident and was ruined, but it still tasted great!

You know... I love that they are Celebrating her birthday but a few weeks ago they were talking about carseats and how their 12 year olds were still sitting in a car seat while they were small still and there is Alyssa In the front seat DRIVING down the road with NO seat belt or sitting properly.....Feet flat. Belt on lap. Belt around shoulders. If they can't sit properly they shouldn't be sitting in the front. Feet on the floor Belt ACROSS chest! #bus driver status. I have seen stuff with kids that don't sit and wear belts properly! It's not pretty!
