My family and I just returned home from cruising on the Utopia of the Seas. 10 out of 10, I would recommend. We had so much fun. There's so much to do for people of all ages.
So, a little fun fact about Lake County Florida. For the longest time, we had a restaurant named The Mason Jar. It was around for DECADES. Unfortunately, when covid hit they had to shut down. I have no idea if maybe they took inspiration from there, but hearing them say that name made me feel nostalgic.
I love your vibe! I watched your videos before I went to Japan, Aulani, and most recently, to Disneyland. Now I'm going to plan this cruise next! I feel like watching your videos has definitely made me travel more 😂. Thanks guys!

You both got this! Friend of mine was 476lbs, he's lost 260lbs so far over roughly the last year and a half - I believe he's taking the same injections Adrian (Theme Park Express) is taking, exercises mostly cardio...
Thank you both! @@Houze968 I did just start injections. I have tried so many different things throughout the years and ended up failing (after losing and rebounding). But I know a lot of people have had success on injections.

We just got off the Utopia today and our room was just opposite and down a couple from yours on this trip. It was great for people watching for sure! :)
When we went to Orlando in Feb we took a drive down to Port Carnaval and went to Jetty Park and stood right on those rocks waving goodbye you could hear all the people in party mode! We are very excited that I booked my family a cruise in May on Symphony of the Seas and the best part is it goes out of NJ so we can drive to the port instead of flying. But, its going to be a long 9 month wait! :(
Thank you for calling it Cloud Gate!! I'm from the northwest suburbs of Chicago originally and have been to Millennial Park and seen the Cloud Gate sculpture many times. I don't know why but it's a pet peeve of mine and it irks me a bit that people refer to it as "The Bean". If the artist Anish Kapoor wanted to call his sculpture "The Bean" and have other people refer to it that way he would have named it that.

I never considered that would be an issue with people but then I think of how angry some people would get if the Statue of Liberty was called “The Giant Green Lady” by people. I’m really glad I was able to address it the right way! I gotta go back now!

Have you ever been on a big cruise ship? I know Kitra and other people I know get motion sickness on boats but the biggest ships you barely feel anything unless there’s a storm
The Gumbo looks so good, would totally have that. And for the first time since watching your cruise videos, a thought popped into my head: I would totally love to see you go to a music festival on a ship. Just to see you on a different kind of cruise.

Hubby is from New Orleans and he makes a very good gumbo that takes alot of time. And those lobsters are crawdads basically mini lobsters. Twist the tail off peel like shrimp, and I'm not a fan of the head cheese hubby is lol. Finding a good gumbo can be tricky, especially living with a new orleans husband for 11 yrs now, and he is very picky.
Kitra I love your ET Loungefly! I recently went to Universal Hollywood and got the ET sparkly spirit jersey. I have never been on a cruise before and I am living vicariously through this series.

We sail on Utopia two weeks from tomorrow, so this video hit the spot! Very excited for the Pesky Parrot. We have a similar room as you got, which is also new to us, but it overlooks the Boardwalk, and is 2nd from the end so thinking we should be able to see the Aqua Show well right from our balcony. Haha well that was the joke of our name from the start. These videos are the highlights of our lives. Our ordinary lives are boring. For example our first video was going to the Hollywood world premiere of a avengers movie
We always use delta. Always fly in at least the day before, never on the same day of the cruise because if something is delayed you’ll miss it. We usually stay at Walt Disney world or universal and make a theme park trip out of it
Our camera? We use the Sony a7s3. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a video professional though because it’s heavy, complicated and expensive but it produces some nice footage if you know how to use it.
Disney cruises are nice and all, but sometimes it’s fun to have a variety of themes to partake in, which, I feel, Royal Caribbean does a fine job offering.
Hi Kitra and Peter. I have an idea for a new food rating to go along with the Star and Galaxy. It is the Ring of Flavour, it could be some where in the middle of Star and Galaxy. ❤️🇨🇦

Chicken skins are “Cracklin’s”. I’ve made them for YEARS. They are better than Bacon! My husband asks me to make them all the time. It’s harder to find them with all the stores selling skinless Chicken breasts now. 😢 Most butchers have them tho. When you find them, just put in oven at 450 for 8 mins. You can season them with salt & pepper (or try different flavors) & we usually dip in a creamy Cajun sauce.
Yes I believe our icon of the seas and symphony of the seas sailing were out of Miami. It’s very beautiful there. Last time we got in two days early and spent the day in south beach.

Chicken skins are “Cracklin’s”. I’ve made them for YEARS. They are better than Bacon! My husband asks me to make them all the time. It’s harder to find them with all the stores selling skinless Chicken breasts now. 😢 Most butchers have them tho. When you find them, just put in oven at 450 for 8 mins. You can season them with salt & pepper (or try different flavors) & we usually dip in a creamy Cajun sauce.

Have you guys ever sailed out of Miami? We booked NCL Aqua and we sail out around 7 I think! I feel like it will be pretty.
Yes I believe our icon of the seas and symphony of the seas sailing were out of Miami. It’s very beautiful there. Last time we got in two days early and spent the day in south beach.

@@OrdinaryAdventures i went on Royal C of the Seas back in 2009 for my 21st brithday (oh my god don't get me started im old) and wow it was a blast.
My wife and I are traveling on Utopia in January for our 20th wedding anniversary. How did you go about booking the utopia railway? I am struggling to figure it out.
When we went on the maiden voyage you could only do so on board but I think now you can do so on the website or by calling them but I’m not sure sorry
