You pro speedrunners are made of something out of this world. What a high consistency, casually taking the most difficult shortcuts and performing the most difficult techniques while talking to the viewers and messing around in general.

every lobby i get in to is kinda distorted skillwise just because a lot of speedrunners are in my twitch chat and join my lobbies, doesnt mean people that people who arent speedrunners arent welcome, quite the opposite. Honestly, I don't think you're really ruining the game. I remember playing back on NF online and everybody was able to maintain blue fire so eventually I just learned to do it too (despite the fact that U-turns/air-brakes really sucked on the Switch D-pad)
Don't mean to turn this down, I love that there's news in the CTR world, though I don't get: how this is different from doing a time trial since there's no interaction? Just asking since I can't play it and I'm sure people here can clarify 😅
In all -practicality-, yes, it is just time trials with up to seven ghosts you're trying to beat, but there's something to be said for the novelty of racing against living, breathing players in the moment.
We need to get a ban Hypnoshark from online petition going quick

With a full decomp they could make a map editor and… they could remake tracks from m64 in the ctr engine!
