@@HolzHammerSagas So glad to hear that I was right! I thought I could see a bust facing right holding a shield and a standard on the reverse🤔. Early primary phase.👍
Hi Alex, I can honestly say that I am addicted to your uploads! As soon as I see that a new video is ready, I can't wait to settle on the couch with a good glass of wine and enjoy all the beautiful things you are digging out of the ground! And what quality, that is almost impossible to find here in the hills of Limburg! Thank you for the great information in this video, on to the next one!
Another great video there, Alex. I always appreciate your honesty by showing us the cartridge ends and. 22 cases! Not desirable finds for anyone, but always good to see you digging such targets, as it gives everyone a chance to see the reality of detecting 👍 Personally, I can't bear those detecting channels where they only ever seem to find gold and silver stuff, then go red in the face and start fist-pumping to the camera, and shouting 'YESSSS! .... GET IN THERE! ... THIS IS WHAT WE DO IT FOR!'🤡. Your videos are such a breath of fresh air. Please don't ever change 😊
Great video! Silver, romans, horses, looked like cool weather. At least no snow! Love every video and rewatch them frequently. Cool in north Florida down to 48 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Will be back in 60's to 70's next week. Cheers.
Great video, as always, Alex. The horses seem pretty chilled. Ears forward= what ya doing. Ears back= not happy! My daughter has had horses for years. Thankfully, she pays for them herself now. Cheers and take care.
He beat me to it. I believe the horse thinks youre waving a carrot around. Lol. Heaven forbid dont give him one. Youll never get rid of him. Great hunt
Those coins look very good. And do did the jetton. You Always seem to find some very nice items!! Hope you are well. Getting very cold here today....and snowed as well!! Holler back!!
Lovely stuff Alex - and always great to see you championing the Deus 2. I totally agree that the D1 is just as good with ploughed - but yes, the D2 smashes it on pasture like you say... 👊 Gorgeous footage with the Neddy 🐴 btw - what a beauty he is! Bobby 🦝
G'day Alexander. Another great day on the pastures, plenty of romans, and those 2 Hammerd coins. Better watch out for that horse next time😂. Near the end of the day I😢 thought that horse was thinking your pinpointer was a carrot 🥕😂. ✌️👍🦘🇦🇺🦘
Super hunt as always, Alexander, a fine James 1st sixpence ,all good here, hope you're feeling better....did purchase the Deus ws6 with the 11" coil ,have not been out yet, hopefully soon..,best Martin.
Thanks for taking my mind off my chesty cough with another great video. I'm on a course of antibiotics at the moment. There are some wicked viruses going around. Horses are curious by nature. You could have had a great finish by riding off into the sunset😂
14:00 its always surreal to me to think thats been there for over 600 years & well never now how it got there, but now its your property alex. great find mate i think its called serendipity.
Do you think Mark? I'll have to give it a proper look I had it down as a scruffy Roman - Im not even sure where it is!!!!! It will be somewhere! Hope all well and thanks for watching! All the Best, Alexander
I’m in the ‘loving English jetton’ camp too. They actually beat a hammered silver coin for me, which is high praise indeed. I have a few but not enough. Still looking for that elusive one that looks like a clown face. Great field (minus the Romans) 😊
Hi Alexander , really nice James 1 of England , James X1 of Scotland , I have one but not in as good nic as yours Alexander lovely find that one . Great treasure hunt 😉
Superb. I have found 4 English jettons in 25 years and all 4 different and also different to yours and it makes me wonder how many varieties there were
I mainly - in fact always as I don't like tinkering - use sensitive full tones with NO discrimination at all and audio response lowered to 3 - hope it works for you if you try it!
Great video again Alexander. That James VI is a belter, I've not seen one in that condition before. I love seeing the English jettons. I've found a few German jettons and a French jetton, but not an English one. Well done, keep up the good work. Is there a link to your ebay shop?
Yes!!!! And thank you Colin!!!! I dug it out from a pile of rubbish on the outside table and am picking away at the crud whuch is really bad.... I will do an update thanking you and Mick later this week!

Lol soon as I put you on makes me laugh anyway thank you all the same mark south Wales 😊
Hi Mark and thanks for watching! I use sensitive full tones with NO discrimination at all and audio response lowered to 3 - hope it works for you if you try it - it wont be everyones cup of tea!
I spoke before about being a hammered virgin out with my Essex club usual rubbish for me then took me ages on bending knees found a little Roman silver had to ask what it was lol chap showed me a few things wrong with my pin pointer thanked him and went on my way 10 minutes later thought it was a joke George the 3rd half Guinea once again had to ask put both in one of my gloves now been told when back at the car park it’s a 1700?best day in my life
Please bring a small bottle of water and a small brush with you so you don’t have to rub the abrasive dirt across the coin with your fingers. I am an ancient and medieval coin conservator and never rub any coins in any metal like this. I work at 30x power where abrasions can be seen.
Very good Leonard but I am not a believer I am sorry - years and years of being rolled around it dirt, chemicals - knocked around by animals and their excrement... a small amount of rubbing on a pretty battered coin isn't going to make any difference - not of any importance anyway. I do know where you are coming from but I already carry far too much stuff and equipment to carry brushes and girly spritzers. All the Best, Alexander
What was the little one near the end of the video Alex? From one angle it looked a bit like a Sceatta🤔
Someone else said that Mick I will have to check a bit more closely! Hope all well1
God Dammit Mick you are right!!!!!!!!!!! I will do an update later this week!!!!!!!! Thank you!
