- A wholesome day in the life, sourdough bread, baking cakes and sweet treats and chatty catch up.
Rice Crispy Bars:
130g maragine
130g marshmallows
130g toffees
250g rice crispies
Buns:
225g (8 oz) Sugar
225g (8 oz) margarine
4 eggs
225g (8 oz) Self raising flour
(1tsp baking powder optional)
(1tsp vanilla extract optional)
Bake at 180 degrees C for 12-15 minutes or until the tops pop back up when pressed.
Had to watch your video in two sessions because you being prepared to run in the rain motivated me to actually go running myself before it was totally dark 🏃♀️Was, however, horrified at your statement that all English people call those cakes "buns"... To me, a bun is bread by default and those are cupcakes or fairy cakes only 😂
