Great memories of my colts as a 12 year old . Still a colts fan, used to pretend I was you playing football with the neighborhood boys.also loved Mike Curtis glad you still a round.
When I was six, the Star-Telegram ran Norm's picture on the front of its sports section. He was breaking a long TD run for the (Frosh) Wogs in a win against Texas ("Al Panzerra photo"). I carried that paper on my lap in the middle seat of a '63 Mercury all the way to Fort Worth (150+ mi.) for homecoming, my first-ever live, big-college game (42-14 over Rice ;) ). I idolized him even before I knew how to pronounce his name. Then the injuries, mercy! The next three years - a lifetime at that age - seemed like a Beckett play, "Waiting for Bulaich," (albeit on a double-bill with "How 'bout that Montgomery, huh?"). Still, I got excited when he was drafted in the first round, and ended up following some pretty unlikely teams purely because he was there. Boy, did I feel validated. :) In other words, once my hero, always my hero, Mr. Bulaich. Bravo, cheers, thank you, and all the best to you.
Glad to see that Norm is still around. Remember his super bowl game against the Cowboys very well.
