On full display here is an artist who has placed authenticity as her highest core value. It is well within the realm of Lizzy’s musical powers to put out songs that have a wider pop appeal driven by stream counts, but instead she making the kind of music the world desperately needs more of; music that puts everything else aside to reveal the heart of the artist.
A shout out for Taylor Mackall’s piano intro. It pushes the boundaries of pop piano accompaniment much the way Brad Mehldau does when he’s in that context. So well done.
The slow build up and arrangement is wonderfully constructed and beautifully recorded ... fabulous track

I just cant get past how lucky I am to be living in the same timeline as Lizzy and her band.
