Sure. Genres for me are just kind of easy like when I go to a show and a friend or colleague is like ''what're you going to see'' I can say ''death metal'' and they'll know there's extreme vocals and that they're not interested in going with :p That's why we have genres.
Can I just say that this is the best reaction video for songs that I've ever seen? Like, not just because of Sleep Token, but because instead of frequent interjections or commentary breaking up the flow of the song itself and having to constantly wait for it to rewind or otherwise to get back into it, the perfectly spliced commentary with the song playing in the background that then cuts back a bit to pick up where we left off is just wonderful and preserves the flow so well. There's also no super long intro or outro, and no jarring amounts of yelling or anything- but at the same time, you can REALLY tell just how into it he is by the expressions, the gesturing, the spliced commentary, etc. It's the perfect blend of chill and hype and I'm really glad I happened across this video in particular ^_^

Haha, great reaction. Im happy people are still diving in to this song and getting carried away. I heard the term, singing in cursive before (think Billie Eilish, Halsey, Adele) but Vessel is singing in calligraphy.

II is honestly one of the best drummers we've seen in a long time... He's both incredibly talented in all the traditional senses but also has a very unique style that I don't think can be mimic'd. Watching him play these songs on Drumeo was actually mind boggling by the almost robotic precision at which he plays with the very minimal amount of movement.

He deserved all 3 of those awards and Drumeo doing a video for the live drum solo in The Summoning was crazy!!! I could watch him play for hours

When I show someone Sleep Token for the first time I usually use this song. Mainly because I feel it has all of what you’re gonna get when listening to them. It’s got their soft side, the r&b side, and the heavy side all in one song.
They have neuro divergent melodies that sound awesome. Layered sounds that take you to another space ❤

The section where you mention you expected a big drop, always no matter how many times I listen to this song it gives me goosebumps and chills! The feeling that rushes through is like no other song I've experienced. This is what I love about this band, the emotion they bring to music. You are 100% the fill the space like masters. I'm here to recommend the vocal video for Cowardice, finale song from the same album Reflaugh comes from. FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED THE GROWL!! Out of the hundreds I’ve watched, I’ve only seen one, maybe 2 reactors talk about it. It’s probably one of my favorite parts of this song.
You've got a good ear, it's easy to miss if you're just listening casually. When listening to Sleep Token it has to be like a Digital Shower... just let the sound pour over you. You know what I mean?

The fancy editing is really worth it if you want to grow this channel. It's a great balance for those who want commentary throughout, and those who hate pausing.

Sleep Token don’t change genres to be recommended in more areas of music on TH-cam, they change genres because that’s something they like stylistically.
As Vessel once said, in the only interview he has ever done: “Life is dark, life is bright. Life is ugly, life is beautiful. Don’t get lost in genres, they’ll only disorient you. Music is for everyone.” I mean with a multitalented musical genius like Vessel, can you really expect anything less?

at first i was pretty thrown off by the whole backpedaling the music a few seconds after a comment, but found that by the end i appreciated it. a lot of reviewers will talk through half the song and it frustrates me at times lol but this is a good way to alleviate that. great review man

the growl is so earthy so toad like and I love toads so… there was a theory I read about each album having an element to it TMBTE being earth, its nature sounds, eden being mentioned in the aspect of garden of Eden and that feminine energy, TPWBYT being a water based album which is easily grasped by the cover art and I believe people were saying sundowning was an air element, so the prediction of course for their next album release is fire in which im sure many are hoping for some more intimacy, rap bars, but also just HEAVY ass riffs

ii is incredible - with a lesser drummer, ST would lose so much of the visceral impact their music makes. His rhythms and fills complement Vessel’s melodies perfectly. These guys are an incredibly well-tuned entity that often seems to be one being rather than four musicians. I’ve never experienced anything like them. I’m here for the duration and beyond.

Love the reaction video itself and how you've laid it out with inserts/clips talking about parts of the song, but maybe tone down the camera zoom in effect, it's really jarring when it's happening so constantly, it's a fun effect, but remember, less is more!

As many times as i've heard this song, ive never noticed the growl....wow
I love sleep token but there is a few songs the could tighten up. Seems like they have a few ideas that are good but don’t necessarily need to be in the song. I do like that they push the boundaries but alot gets lost in translation.
