37:30 Woah, this is the first ever gameplay I’ve ever seen where Daniel doesn’t push back Sean here! I’ve always seen him yelling “don’t touch me”, I didn’t even know there was another option. Cool
you have to show vulnerability with Daniel, he understands that more and can empathize, saying you were trying to protect him makes him feel insulted and disrespected because you’re trying to justify lying to him
If you're wondering when/where you missed the souvenir, it was when playing fetch with Mushroom. If you throw the stick far enough, Mushroom will come back with a shark tooth necklace.
it’s so nostalgic seeing Arcadia Bay three years after the events of the first game, makes you wonder what all the characters are up to now after everything they’ve been through. anyways, I’m loving this playthrough so far, you guys never disappoint with great content! keep it up ❤️
@@imetacrab I didn't realize the town changes depending on your choice. Just checked the alternate version and dang its sad seeing the town in ruins years later. It shows that when they said everybody died they really meant it.
I forgot how much I love the first episode of LiS2. I enjoyed your thought process at the gas station. I was the same. I debated way too long about what to buy. But that is the beauty of a first time playthrough. The players know nothing and that makes it so interesting. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Screenplay and game design is very important for any game, but for the full immersion there has to be impeccable voice acting, and Diaz brothers story touches our hearts because Gonzalo Martin and Roman George's voices made these characters believable and relatable in many ways. Interesting fact: usually VA work separately [for convenience and timing], but there are rare instances where studio allow actors to be together on the sound stage to film their scenes, and LIS2 provided to Gonzalo and Roman such opportunity to build the chemistry between them which was a wise move as it helped to create brotherhood between Sean and Daniel in the game. That ending scene in the motel room is great. You feel for them, for their confusion, loss and sadness. But through all of it there lies unbreakable togetherness of brotherhood. And you suddenly understand that LIS2 is not a depressing game, on the contrary, it's a positive experience if you allow yourself to feel all those things and not to be afraid to be vulnerable in front of a loved one/relative. There's no strong ties if you're completely closed off and not sharing emotions in a honest way. I truly think that LIS2 is giving so much to players beyond simple entertainment. You never forget your first playthrough! Love, love this game 💜
Great episode as always! That ending was coming, but it's good that Daniel knows, feel for him tho. Now they both know they have to rely on each other, they're all they've got. The music is always so good in these games. Can't wait for the next episode, will be interesting to see how Sean trains and manages Daniel's powers
Greta ending to the first ep. Sucks this is how Daniel found out but at least it’s out in the open and both of them can move forward on the same page and be able to heal together. Great job on find inf nearly all the collectibles too. I do like how different this game is to the first game in so many ways. Also like how we are exploring a different power with telekinesis type stuff instead of time travel type stuff. On paper I think telekinesis isn’t as interesting as time travel but I love how this game tackles it focusing way more on the brothers relationship than on the magical powers which LiS 1 def shined a spotlight on way more(LiS 2 ep1 only had three instances of the power being used meanwhile LiS 1 ep1 the power was used constantly right off the bat lol) and in that sense it feels almost more grounded which I love. Can’t wait to see you guys play through ep2 which from memory is my fav of the eps or tied with ep5 Also you guys not instantly knowing for sure what AFK meant was very funny lol
If you use the other stairwell when Sean and Daniel are initialing going to their room, Daniel will hear some "weird' sounds coming from an occupied room and think the people are fighting. As Sean you can then choose to tell Daniel that it's a couple having sex, or that it's the TV.😉
I just started LiS2 myself and I’m so glad you guys are also doing a play through of it! I love that you guys talk through your thought process and I can see how similarly/differently we approached the choices. Keep up the great videos!
I was wondering like considering where you ended off at the motel part it wasn't really that far away to the end of the first episode but I'm excited nonetheless😄
I'm having a lot more fun watching you play than I had playing, probably because I'm not having to choose 😅. I'm sure others will say it but Life is Strange: True Colors is really good and worth playing at some point, it's essentially "Life is Strange 3" they just stopped calling them that after LiS 2 had a polarising response (its also closer in vibe to LiS 1 + Before the Storm).
No its not "LIS3" because the writers are not the same. Life is Strange 1, Captain Spirit, and 2 were written by Jean-Luc Cano and Christian Divine (who are the creators). They are not lead staff for BTS, Tell Me Why, or TC. If there is going to be a LIS3 it will be written by those two.
We hope everyone has a great weekend, aaaawoooooo 🐺

it was a lot less nostalgic for me based off my ending choice hahahaha... love that they made it reflect the choice
you did the right ending and choice then :) @@imetacrab

Oh btw max still has her powers. (In the comics she still uses them)
Where do you read the comics? Are they canon from the developers?
@@ProcrastinatingPanda Yeah they’re cannon and you can just look it up online.
@@ProcrastinatingPanda They take place in one of the possible timelines, but none of the timelines is more canon than the others
"$2 for a soda?!" haha my reaction when i once got iced tea from a vending machine, although at least it was in one of those bigger plastic bottles

Yes i got that on my playthrough, i told him the truth lmao.

Really enjoy watching you two work together and bond over games like these. Can't wait to see the next upcoming episodes :)
I am very proud of y’all Eric & Sarah! Keep it going. I hope u become further more successful with ur content. Peace, Luv & Respect!
this game it's so good and painfull, looking forward to your next episode!
if you don't call lyla, it will be detrimental to her mentally
Yes, it's just like with Kate not answering her call in the first LiS...
Can't wait to see you guys play the rest of it!

Eric's with a Brazil shirt??? is he Brazilian?
I’m not Brazilian, my brother and I were giving matching Brazil shirts when we were young, so it has sentimental value!
@@EricSarahLevelUp ohh that's so cool! hug's from Brazil 🫶🫂
