    They trippin'. La Raza was huge. It was culturally impactful. Lean Like A Cholo was more of a novelty record; it was a dance record. They not the same. I said what I said.

      Yes, this one hit wonder was really just to laugh at. Frost put Los Angeles on world wide map. Then came this pendejo ( yes people tuned in to laugh more than him being a good artist hence he couldn’t come up with nothing more)

    La Raza had meaning behind it. Lean like a cholo was big because everyone else who wasn’t Mexican used it to make fun of the culture and was viewed as a joke. Numbers don’t mean shit when your own people see it as an insult.

    Kid Frost this is for the Raza made it all the way to #6 on the Billboard Rap charts. Was #46 on the U.S. Top 100. What did his Cholo song do? I didn't even know who he was until the drama with Jenny 69

    Kilo looked be completely out of it during this interview, first of all why is he wearing sunglasses indoors? Second, 1990 through 2007 is 17 years not 27! He either doesn't know how to add or he's been up for many days at a time high on crystal meth and he did this interview while he was on his come down and not thinking properly, that might also be the reason why he wore his sunglasses indoors to hide his tweaker eyes, he acted very unprofessional during his interview. Also let's not forget that Lil Rob's "Summer Nights" came out in 2006 and it had radio play throughout the country as well as video play on MTV,, it was a hit record but Tony failed to mention it. I also wouldn't put any stock into anything frank nitty has to say when it comes to Chicano rap, many years ago when we used to be acquaintances it seemed like he was hopping artist to artist trying to attach himself to whoever was hot and popular at that time that way he can take credit for their success, he had the reputation for overhyping and under delivering, hopefully he isn't like that anymore these days and he has grown as a person.

    This can’t be a serious question. La Raza is, has and always will be the best Chicano Rap song and it shouldn’t be compared to parody songs.

    If there was ONE clip to sum up the subculture this is it! 💯
    Mentioning relevant tracks that put Nuestra Gente on the map.
    Unfortunate goofy records that got blown up or shed the spotlight on.
    The HATE between OUR OWN that has kept us as a whole to get to the next level!

    What about "Latin Lingo" by Cypress Hill? Why is Cypress being ignored? Is it because they're Cubans and not Chicanos? Just curious.

    • @the_homie_KIKE_4rm_ESCO760
      @the_homie_KIKE_4rm_ESCO760 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Was “Latin Lingo” marketed as a single? Was it a standout track from the album it came from?
      Even if it was, it NEVER gained the traction that goofy ass record had.
      When it comes to raza in the rap game it was some goofy or low quality shit that got blow up with a select few notable exceptions.

    • @VidaDhierro91

      Also they never related themselves with Chicano rap that’s why I feel like they don’t have that much respect as well since they never really put raza out there …like conejo said “THEY PUFFED THEIR LITTLE W33D ,BUT NEVER SHARED WITH US “

      @the_homie_KIKE_4rm_ESCO760 When you were typing and said "goofy" you were looking in the mirror. Not goofy about "Latin Lingo". Only thing goofy was you and your goofy response, esa vata.

    You serious ? Kim Kardashian dancing to lean like a cholo ? Come on my people I appreciate both my brothers and what they’ve done for our culture I am a nobody compared to the 2 and the word cholo is a derogatory word used to insult our people like the N word was but more importantly Tony you wrong for asking that question because it has no significance whatsoever other then having negative opinions from opinions is stupid anyway you using this for views is wrong but I’m assuming you’re trying to milk it before you go so I get it thanks for your contributions by the way also hopefully you pay for the donations our people gave you in the way God sees fit ✊🏽
