what a brilliant review and excellent playing ! i just bought this and it will be delivered in a day and then found this video and now it's confirmed i made the right choice, thanks man
Great vid, being a bass player, you want something that is a little more forgiving than a steel string dreadnaught or parlour for composing, also such a great value as opposed to buying a Godin with a similar vibe. Yamaha always delivers in the QA department in my opinion
Great demo and playing, Heinrich! As a non-professional player unlikely to hit the big stage anytime soon, I think this should more than enough meet my needs as a versaitile fireside / recording guitar.
It is quite jarring when you are used to big bodied guitars when picking up one of these thin ones for the first time acoustically. It is mostly the lack in volume but as a Dad of two toddlers it has it's perks for late night playing. Give it time...I only play thinlines and the slight lack of bass is not fussing me at all anymore.
Hi there. Thank you so much. The song is a Samba...Cordão by Joep Wanders. After that, I was playing Minor Swing by Django Reinhardt with improvised solo sections. Enjoy!
Hi Heinrich. Loved the video and the demo. I purchased one of these in the sunburst finish and I absolutely love it. What was the last classical piece you played? It sounds very familiar.
I have the NCX1 which is the more “classical” version of this “crossover nylon” guitar. It *does* have a truss rod. Because they were introduced at the same time as part of the same line, I’d guess the NTX1 does have a truss rod because classical guitars don’t usually have them, but the more “classical”-styled NCX1 *DOES* have one, so I don’t see why the less traditional NTX1 wouldn’t.
thanks@@amrevolver i "ll work that, i ve just bought a KREMONA SOFIA CUTAWAY electro guitar, marvellous , incredible sound plugged and unplugged , a good sound for classical too, was looking for a cordoba or an alhambra and was mesmerized by the instrument and with a 48mm fretboard!!!incredible!!

I had this quitar for few days, don't buy it. Made by the same cnc machines and Chinese hands as many others, strings are relatively high fingerboard and it's adjustment won't change a lot, after a while I got cheaper cort cec7: it's simply better.
Not all Chinese guitars are built the same, even if they come from the same factory. Yamaha is a big company with a big reputation: that translates into better materials and more exacting standards for delivering on the contract. I love my NCX1 and it plays perfectly right out the box. I might invest in a little setup to lower the action, but it’s not an issue for me.
@SalimSivaad dont lie to yourself at the end it's just a wood and glue, difference comes sometimes from the precision but according to my experience cheaper Cort was simply better and it's not an advertisement as those corts are no longer available
@@morgothb6006 It’s not just wood and glue. It’s design, it’s choice of materials, it’s specs, it’s mandates from the company that ordered the guitars, it’s processes for quality control and assurance (the Yamahas are QA/QC’d in Japan after manufacture in China). Not all guitars built in the same factory are the same. To imply the are is the height of ignorance.
Best review of this guitar - Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Thank you Heinrich, I can listen to you forever. I guess I have to come back and start playing the guitar at a very young age:)

Ty for this review 🔥
Great review!!
Great Review!
After playing one at GC then watching your review I definitely believe it’s meant to be played plugged in, I was very disappointed acoustically

Fantastic playing, my brother! 👏

Thx Heinrich for the cool review ,,Nice playin by the way... I have just a simple question : Does the NTX 1 have a Truss rod ? Thx ..
Hi Heinrich. Loved the video and the demo. I purchased one of these in the sunburst finish and I absolutely love it. What was the last classical piece you played? It sounds very familiar.
Hello Milan. It is Evocation by José Luis Merlin. Lovely suite of pieces you should check out. Enjoy
Nice Review🙂
Thank you 🙂
I'm looking for my first nylon string guitar, should i buy this guitar if i just play it mostly without an amp?
Sola no tiene mucho volumen ya que es de cuerpo pequeño y angosto pero amplificada te da un muy buen sonido
Yamaha NCX1FM vs Takamine GC6CE ?
Which is better for you?
This is great playing, but that's not really the sound though is it? You have your vocal mic right in front of the guitar
Stefan uses the mic for my speech. I try not to talk while playing for him to mute the mic during jams.
Does it have a truss rod?
Si tiene alma. Es una buena guitarra. Yo la tengo

Is this guitar also good for Jazz ?
All of the NTX models with their thin necks make complex chords a breeze.
This guitar looks small in this video. Does it really that small or he's big?😂
Very nice review👍🏼
Yo la tengo, no es tan pequeña, ligeramente pequeña, si es angosta y eso le resta un poco de volumen, pero amplificada tiene un muy buen sonido
