I didn’t know Baekhyun is such a good dancer after watching the DP to Bambi. He was obviously dancing really good before and idk if this is a recent practice but wtf he is extremely good.

The dancer you like in betcha is yumeki takenaka. He is in 1 million dance company and he dances in most of sm chores. He is an amazing dancer especially Kai solo beyond live and Baekhyun Candy.
I recently discovered him. He was in one of Chaeyoung’s Knock dance challenges. He was amazing in the few seconds that these last.

I loved it, Baekhyun is such an all rounder. Also of course everyone in Hot and Cold are amazingly talented and i enjoyed them as artists, but what I find funny in the Hot and Cold dance and performances videos both is that there isnt any indication at most points that there are 3 other people dancing alongside them, i get that they dont want to interact as much due to the typical reactions to male and female artists interacting, but like even the guys and girls werent really interacting with one another which typically doesnt get a harsh reaction from the wierd haters, it was like they recorded on four different stages and they were put together, I wish we saw more interaction and chemistry, I am remembering stages from arists like Taemin and Sunmi or Junho and Yoona's recent performances that were amazing in showing chemistry.

14:18 I agree with you. It's such a shame for SM not to release all red velvet's dance practice esp because I think sometimes people just tend to overlook seulgi's ability as a dancer since we have nothing much to see except for the live performance.

I know what you mean about the lighting during Bambi but I could tell they went intentionally for the shadowy look of the MV and it certainly is a mood! I was always curious about Bambi's full choreo and really anything he eventually performs live from that album. How would the choreographers approach a song that is so very vocally demanding (as many of the tracks on Bambi album are) to give Baekhyun the breath and control that he needs....
Ik the dancers in betcha would do it for u 😂🫡 he isn’t the choreographer (kasper) but yea yumeki is gonna do it everytime. All of them really and I think the girl with the hats name is Mia I’ll have to go back and watch the video full screen

Baekhyun may not be as good as others but he has a distinct style in dancing, I love our genius idol ♡

Baekhyun’s backup dancers are obviously very good, but I disagree with your comment on Bambi that the dancers are stronger than Baekhyun, or are performing it stronger than him because he has to sing, etc. To me, a lot of groups and dancers nowadays tend to over exaggerate choreo or are focusing on giving it a lot of energy that’s always at 100, that it actually looks messy, or looks like they’re trying too hard. It loses the feeling that the song is supposed to convey, they lack that ebb and flow between hard and soft, strong and sexy. They just look like they’re dancing hard for like a dance competition. As opposed to Baekhyun who interprets the song through his movements. I have a background in ballet, and so I tend to look at hands, feet, extensions, posture a lot. Just look at Baekhyun’s hand/finger movements and arm extensions, they have much more finesse and feeling in comparison to his dancers. I’ve always thought Baekhyun, and all Exo members, always bring something extra to performances that separate them from other kpop artists. On top of being technically clean, with every body part placed exactly where it’s supposed to be, nothing out of place - they are always able to convey emotion and personality through dance. They work extremely hard to make it look like they’re not working hard at all.
Absolutely agree, you gotta fit your body and moves to the choreo, not go at every move with 110% force.
agree 100% baekhyun is smart and an amazing performer and because of this he’s able to sing amazingly live while he’s dancing. which not many idols nowadays can do but i won’t name any names also i feel like this shift especially with 4th gen that idols need to focus more on being dancers rather than overall performers and singers is reducing the live performance quality. i say this as someone who likes a lot of newer groups but the extreme focus on dance creates such a lack of amazing live vocalists. it’s unbalanced i don’t understand why kpop turned SOOOO dance focused

They are all wearing black probably with the intention to highlight their hand movements which seems to be the key focus of the choreography ( and also may be... just to match the vibe of the song ).

I want a reaction from a dancers few too pls because I want to know how hard will it be to learn the Choreo for Bambi…like which difficulty level has this Choreo? With the foot work and the quickness it looks really complicated
I would love to see your reaction...to an old EXO performance.. namely their "Song For You" performance where they did a cover for "Open Arms" by Boyz 2 Men and "Baby Don't Cry"... I literally hollered when Chen caused the KBS sound system to glitch out because he overpowered it and it shut anyone who were trying to say "it's pre-recorded" or "they're lip syncing" down.
