Heinrich. This one is fabulous. Everything works so well--great interview --economy of words with so much content, so many never-before-seen works. Enthralling. When will galleries and museums realize that good art doesn't need jazz bands, harps, and violins and vice versa? Not only is this kind of thing a distraction, but the acoustics are usually horrific and when people are shouting to be heard over the music...even worse. What a tasteless decision!
Jean-Michel gave My friend who used to be his body guard the ch eep skin hat that he used to wear in the winter during his time in nyc and he still has it in his safe.
he has his hat does he? Well I still have several drawings I purchased directly from Jean Michel in the mid 80s....he was a wonderful fellow...I will always miss him ,especially when I take out the drawings. Thanks for this ....I should post the drawings .....
..in the most ironic fashion, is a young, black Haitian man, who by today's standards would've been loathed by white European society, but when it comes to art history, he is considered a genius. I would love to go to a retrospective to see upfront the brushstroke and composition layout of his paintings and work of art.
amazing work...love his work...too bad he did too many drugs and without drugs i heard from people and media that he could not create even ok work :( but im a fan still :) Wilpower.
I love art. But honestly I have never understood his stuff. Also after seeing interviews with him. They seem random. "Full of meaning and content" "layers of content". This video also really didnt told me what his content and meaning actually is. Empty words.
One of the best Basquiat shows so many great paintings that i love
