I love my MPC One, but a proper sampler MUST have a fader control. This instrument is a great value. Would suggest to their marketing team they make a jacket or zipper hoodie that can hold it.
@auskell thanks! Yeah the loop functions brutal lol. Since this vid I learned you can use the plus and minus buttons to select a different segment of the loop which is cool too.
@@SpinxyBeats Ha yeah I've only ever messed around with it; never found a way to make it sound good. After seeing this though I wanna try it out again.
@petpal005 thanks man! With drum breaks I just sample them like normal, chop them into two bits from the kick at the start of one, then start the second chop from the snare. Then after they're recorded into the sequencer. I adjust the pitch while playing it all back till it fits nice in time. Then when you have the right combo of pitch/time stretch/master bpm set, you can then add in more drum chops as needed.
Bloody lovely

woow really hypnotizing.
But how you managed to sync drum samples to project bpm?
are breaks samples raw, or you pre tuned it?

I didn’t think EDM was a real genre. Throwaway.
