These malls are a good way to get some good cardio walks in, in the morning when they first open. It's a good way to be indoors during these winter months.

you know, before this video was uploaded, being here was just amazing, but of course people have changed their minds, and the mall is starting to decay, Restaurants at the mall have shut, as well as stores, less people come to the mall, even the food court, and at this point It will go. I will really miss this place, especially that incident with that youtuber getting shot, which could possibly be the reason…
This isn't the Dulles Town Center Mall I remember from my visit to Virginia in 2019. There were lots of people, the food court was packed, people riding the carousel.

I was there today to get a pretzel. It just depends on the day. It did lose a couple of anchor stores so I think there’s talk of putting in condos or something. I really enjoy them mall. It will be a shame if it closes
business was always pretty slow when I was working there, even on the 4th of July we didn't get too many people. Even before the shooting it was pretty dead.
diners make more money than this. it doesn't help if somebody says, "its only a weekday". do you think the owners want to pay employees for doing nothing in a store during a weekday because no customer comes all day? no.
Wow... I remember when the lock down in 2020 all mall were empty like this. What time of the day is this? Where are the shoppers? I wonder if Fairoaks or Tyson 1 and 2 are like this too. 🤔
This was filmed on a Saturday afternoon. I have videos at Tysons 1 and Fair Oaks if you want to check them out! Tysons has always had more people, especially with the Silver Line going there now plenty of people visit. Fair Oaks is definitely not as visited.
Where are the shoppers?... Are you this out of touch with what economically is happening not only in the US, but worldwide? Finally the great LIE of people are working from home has hit. You now are seeing what happens when people have no job/disposable income and can no longer shop, drive, maintain a home, can't afford college etc. We are in a full on DEPRESSION and people are still clueless to it
I just went there at the first time. The location isn’t great. It is too far away from the center of population. No highway or metro station nearby. I’d rather go to Tyson corner. I feel bad for the business owners over there. Especially the business owners at the food court. They cooked lots of delicious food but if they don’t have enough customers, they might have to throw the food away.
Agree - we as a society need to do better for our unhoused population. A nearby mall, Fair Oaks, was recently re-zoned to be mixed use in a future development. Some of the stores and parking lot will be turned into residential housing.

Absolutely! A good amount of people at the mall this day I suspect were getting their steps in while avoiding the 30 degree weather outside.
You missed the Dulles Reptile House. It was next to the Piano Store. It's a petting zoo!

A lot of people just opt to go to Tyson's since it's like 20mins from Dulles, at least in my experience.

Good question in regards to Tyson 1 & 2. Have not been to Fairoaks just yet. I always shop at Tysons while visiting the DMV.
